He'd probably end up in Pop's doghouse for some reason, get benched and have his rhythm and confidence destroyed.

Uh, Scola's only been in the league two seasons and the Spurs haven't done jack in those two years. Scola would have been VERY useful but I guess the FO/Pop prefers to have 3 point chuckers like Bonner on the team.

Lets see.... Conference Finals 2007-2008, Ginobili is not 100% and lose to the Lakers.... 2008-2009, Ginobili is out for the playoffs

Scola would have been productive but would not have been the difference maker. What have the Rockets won since Scola has been there other than getting out of the first round for the first time in years.

Do you literally think that he is the difference maker in the Lakers series? How do you explain the swing in point differential between game five and six? This league is all money driven...

I doubt it.... The NBA got what it wanted in a Boston-LA finals........

    Its all money driven.......

We just may have a LA-Cleveland Finals this year. Kobe-Lebron..... Its all too obvious.

We don't need soft players that can't rebound like Luis Scola.

I agree with you there.... We need solid players that can rebound and that will be agressive on both the offensive and defensive ends. I agree that the Spurs deferred to outside shooting and in the end it bit them in the a**. Popovich made some mistakes in rotations, no doubt.... The Spurs were never right as far as health is concern. They need to take the summer and rest, get healthy, reflect, and make the proper adjustments needed and make a run in the 2009-2010. But understand this, the NBA will try to do everything they can to get the more marketable teams in the end when it comes down to the playoffs.

spur fans are making want lakers to win and make scola fisherman
let the birdman kick the lakers out
ducks bro, just admit the cold hard facts

argentina is better than france in basketball.
spurs were completely absouletey wrong about scola
trading scola made pop wanna spit
spur fans who supported the front office and wanted to show """loyalty""" (lol) were wrong.
sure making a thread whining about scola for the 5616156165165164165165165165 to the infinite time will do nohting, but i love it because some spur fans well get butt hurt

That's a big fat lie, Scola was thrilled as knowing the he was going to play for the best team in the league alongside Manu and Oberto, he was crushed when the Spurs traded him.

I don't know how Spurs fan can rationalize this bull .

It's too obvious. He'd be able to take pressure off the big three, and be another spark off the bench to cure those Spurs 3rd quarter slumps, since we'd have not just one, but two intense players to energize the scrubs.

It was a boneheaded mistake through and through, and to quote Reverend Wright, SPURS CHICKENSSSS .... are coming hommmee... To ROOST!

He'd probably end up in Pop's doghouse for some reason, get benched and have his rhythm and confidence destroyed.
Nah, I bet Scola would get the Finley, Manu treatment before getting the George Hill treatment.
Pop would feel pride in his little argentinean pipeline. Pop admires guts and intensity.

Anyway, Hopefully we've paid the price with two championshipless years and we get a good offseason this year because Timmy wants to win one every year. So the people who are pretending to be satisfied already. Timmy is a once in generation player!

I want to know.. I want their email address... I also want email addresses of all of the local media here in SA.

Does Don Harris, Greg Simmons, Buck Harvey, Chris Duel or anyone other media types have the balls to call the Spurs Front office out?

    I ing doubt it.

This dude can ing play.... not to mention Hedo? Carter? Didn't they have a chance to get Ron Artest?

Outside of Tim, Tony and half ass Manu, this team is a total up of all proportions.
