I'm not the oldest poster - but I have CHILDREN who are older than most of you guys!

Actually a good majority of the posters in the Club are young. I think the average age on the board is probably late 30s.

Man, the early 80's was the perfect time to be born, if not earlier. The last good years. Old enough to remember the world before the internet and massive amounts of Reaganomic/Clintonian consumerism defined everything. Young enough that we were cognizant during the rise of hip-hop and 8 bit videogames. We straddle the line between generation X and whatever the 90's baby's are. We have a foot in both worlds and it's just perfect.

I definitely wouldn't mind being older, just so I wouldn't have to be relatively young during the coming apocalypse, but I cant describe the gra ude I have for not being born later than 1983.
