This looks like a good matchup.

Spurs need to keep their worms on a hook and their heads on a swivel.

Mavericks have been baiting them well early, but their casting has been unreliable lately.

Both teams look to benefit from extended scouting with their GPS location systems.

Should be a close game, Ted.

I'm thinking Ice is dropping at least his jersey number, too.

In game #2, Tony Parker suffered a broken ankle, but it would only help the Spurs as Jacque Vaughn came in to tally a quadruple-double, ending with 44 points, 15 assists, 11 rebounds, and 10 steals.

In addition, Matt Bonner tallied 30 points, 11 rebounds, and 15 blocks, using Shaq-like moves down low to move opponents out of the lane and slam it home. Roger Mason scored 25 points and scored most of his points driving into the lane, where he made some amazing and-ones. Kurt Thomas scored 15 points and was 5-5 from the field while Fabricio Oberto came off the bench and, despite his heart condition, drilled three three-point baskets, including an 80-footer as time was expiring in the first quarter. Michael Finley slammed home five super dunks to end with 10 points and Bruce Bowen looked like Tony Parker, continually getting into the lane and making some great layups. George hill was 5-5 from three-point land while Ime Udoka tallied 11 points and Drew Gooden ended with 5 points and 11 assists.

The Spurs won going away, 145-56.
