Here are a group of young Players that I think are gonna be very good in the near future:

    1. Aaron Brooks - He showed some flashes last season, Ive seen him play when he was in college where he was a stud. I think he will be a solid player in this league.

    2. Renaldo Balkman- I love this kid's energy and hustle. If he can just develop a jumpshot and some moves he can be really good.

    3. Acie Law - I saw him play a few times last season, where he looked pretty mediocre but in this year's summer league he seemed to have gotten better. I think he will be a solid backup and eventually take over the starting role for us.

    4. Daequan Cook- Even though I don't like the Miami Heat that much I love this kid's game and his heart. He played very hard last season when given the chance. I think he is gunna have a nice season.

    5. Gerald Green- I saw him play versus my Hawks during the Rocky Mountain Review. If this guy can improve his shot selection and b-ball Iq he can be an all-star in this league.

    6. Anthony Randolph- I love this kid's game, he is like a mixture of Lamar Odom and Chris Bosh imo. He can handle the ball, he's quick, has a nice mid range jumper but yet he is strong enough to play down low and block shots. I think he's a future all-star.

    7. Amir Johnson- I think this kid has so much potential, he is already a very good defender and he has good athleticism. If he works on his offensive game some more he will be solid.

    8. Glen "Big Baby" Davis- This guys fat. He needs to cut down on the fast food and work out with Kevin Garnett more.

    9. DeAndre Jordan- I have only seen this guy play once but all I can say is that he is a steal for the Clippers. I think he is gunna be a beast.

    10. Mike Conley- I haven't seen him play much but from what I have heard he has a bright future.

    11. Brandon Bass- This guy is a beast, if he could just develop some post up moves with his great midrange jumper and his strong finish he would have close to allstar potential imo

    12. Chris Quinn - He has the potential to play in the d-league for years.

There are so many young players in the Nba today that have great potential, please discuss.

    Amir Johnson is overrated.
    Definitely.

I can't stand the way some Piston fans treat him like he's so great or that he should never be traded when he's never done anything but look out of place on the court.

My apologies to you Mr.Bottomtooth, I probably shouldn't have responded that way. It just got under my skin that one of my team's best players was compared to Tyrus in Thomas. But you actually are right they do have similarities but Josh Smith is just way superior to him.

BUMP. Let me see where I was right and wrong.

    1. Aaron Brooks. Brooks has been tremendous for the rockets in this postseason, and I usually have a soft spot in my heart for smaller PG's so I really like this kid's game.

    2. Renaldo Balkman. I was totally wrong about Balkman. Haven't seen this guy play all year.

    3. Acie Law. Once again Hawks draft another bust. Why does god hate Atlanta so much?

    4. Daequan cook. He's been alright, still has room to develop.

    5. Gerald Green. Dead wrong about Gerald Green. Earlier in the season he looked really good but I don't know what happened to him, injuries or something?

    6. Anthony Randolph. This guy is great, the Next KG. He's a stud, and one day will put up 18, 10 and 4, Book it!

    7. Amir Johnson. Nothing to write home about, but still has time to get better.

    8. Glen " Big Baby" Davis. I dunno if he cut down on the fast food or not but dude's been a Baller in the playoffs. When KG went down I thought it was over the Celts, Big baby deserves much props for playing this well. 16 and 5 from a 2nd rounder?! Very good work.

    9. Deandre Jordan. Kid doesn't get much minutes but when he does he usually does well. I still think he's gunna be a beast.

    10. Mike Conley. He's playing below his potential but I still think he will improve in the near future. Dude needs to get stronger and be more agressive.

    11. Brandon Bass. Still very good but he just didn't take that big step I thought he would take. He needs to develop a couple of post moves and work on rebounding. And someone should tell him that he should make power moves instead of trying to dunk every single time down low. He needs a hook shot or something off the glass.

    12. Chris Quinn. One day he will be a D-League Hall of famer.

Andray Blatche: I think he's ready to get more significant playing time and give the Wizards a wealth of flexibility in terms of matching up different line-ups. Improved but not as much as I had anticipated, and the team beset with injuries didn't really help things. He probably was asked to do a lot more than he was ready to give, particularly play out of position at the center spot for much of the season.

Yi Jianlian: New team in a market that has a strong Chinese population, will be on a team that shouldn't be very good and should get even more playing time, and will be coming off the Beijing Olympics. I think he will be hyped to make a bigger mark on the league next year. Not bad, but certainly not as well as I thought the change in scenery would help.

Marcus Williams (Warriors): Is really the only true point guard on the Warriors and if Monta Ellis struggles to lead at the point guard position, Williams may get some significant time running an uptempo team to put up some stats. Dead wrong about this guy. In college, I loved the way he played. But, either he really sucks or he has poor work ethic and can't earn PT.

Al Thornton: Already arrived to a certain degree last year as a rookie. But, now with Elton Brand out of the plans, he can remain the third option after Baron Davis and Chris Kaman. With that, he'll be facing a lot of one-on-one situations as opposed to the double teams Davis and Kaman will see. I like his chances to put up some even more impressive numbers next year. Put up pretty good numbers but still expecting even more out of him.

Brandon Rush: I think at some point in the season, the Pacers will have to find a way to deal Mike Dunleavy because Rush will be that good and will need starter minutes at the shooting guard position. He's ready to contribute at both ends of the court. I'd like to see him get more burn. I think he'll be a really good player, but the Pacers probably need to trade Dunleavy in order for that to happen.

Julian Wright: Brandon's college teammate will push for even more playing time with his ability to play three positions and run the floor with Paul. I don't know why Byron Scott played him so rarely. The kid should play more than 15 minutes a game. What was wrong with him or what is wrong with Byron Scott?

Jason Thompson: People thought Sacramento really stretched to take Jason Thompson in the late lottery. I think they got themselves a heck of a player. I didn't really watch too much of him other than youtube clips, but I also like the fact that he outplayed Michael Beasley last year when their two schools met, albeit in a loss to Kansas State. I think a really, really good rookie season. I think he's well on his way to becoming a very good player in the league.

Rudy Fernandez: If he's half as good as some people seem to think he is, then I can see him taking over starting shooting guard position for the Blazers and Brandon Roy sliding over to start at point guard. I think they should have done what I suggested, especially more in the fourth quarter where they have both Rudy and Roy in the back court to close games.

Tyrus Thomas: I think he's gonna blow up this season. Ok, he didn't blow up, but he started to play closer to his potential later in the year. And, in the playoffs, he continued to show flashes of what he might be if he can put it all together. And, for the record, I didn't say he was Josh Smith. I said he was "closer" to Josh Smith than he was to Stromile Swift. I just don't think he's as bad as Swift turned out. He's not at the level of Josh Smith, but he's closer to that than he is to being the bum Stromile is.

Glen Davis is fat and might be about 6-foot-6 without the athleticism that other undersized PFs have. Who the fed Glen Davis his wheaties before this season?

Aaron Brooks is a career third string point guard at best. I'm an idiot.
