Aaron Brooks will not be allowed into Staples before the game.
Height and weight requirement.
Scola is the sexy pic but my money is on Shane Battier 3 minutes in

after the artest flop they will call anything
Joey Crawford will eject Artest just for guarding Kobe
Hayes is the key. I expect two quick fouls on Chuck to send him to the bench.
I guess I better resign myself to the Laker surviving the second round....
I could see Brooks being called for offensive charges already....![]()
Scola, Hayes and ron ron gets ejected
Spot on. The way to take out the Rockets will be to not allow any kind of physical play against the soft azz Lakers. Kind of like what happened in Game 5. Lost in the 40 point blowout was the early foul trouble on the Houston "bigs". Game changer.
Gotta play these guys hard and chippy. Move the ball around a lot and not turn it over. I think soft defines the Lakers. Punch them early and they fold.
I think shane will get in trouble too. There were a lot of plays on kobe last night where I got confused because I just automagically assume the whistle will be blown if anyone is withing 3 feet of him.
That said, battier would have been a perfect replacement for Raja Bell on the Suns... Guards that can shoot and play lock down D are hard to come by.
It just occured to me how Houston can dominate the west. Unfortunately you have to get rid of Yao and somehow get dwight howard...
let me pop you in the jaw with a forearm so you bite your tongue.
Battier/Scola/Artest/Chuck Hayes will all be in foul trouble in the first quarter. Ok maybe not all of them but at least two of them.
the rockets will have to forfeit cause they will only be able to put 4 players out in the 4th quarter
Scola is gonna foul out within 5 mins. Then Brian Cook goes. GG.
+1 Artest will breathe a little too hard on Kobe and Joey C. will ring him up with a Flagrant 2.![]()
Holy ...the Rox with Superman would be ing unstoppable.
Indeed. That would probably be one of the best defensive teams in NBA history. They would only have to score around 80ppg because no one would be getting more than 65.
As far as the OP goes, I will take Hayes also. As soon as he bodies up Gasol it will be a whistle.
Rockets are going to have to overcome a 45 free throw night from LA. Eddie F Rush hasn't called a game this series and he's due for game 7 I'm guessing. He loves soft free throw shooting teams and is quick with the whistle.
You have to wonder about this kind of thing when Phil says, "Don't worry. It's a home game."
Scary.
