I want everyone but my favorite team to go down in flames.

This thread is dedicated to the teams you want to see go down in flames for WHATEVER reason. For example, as a Seahawks fan I'd like to see:
1) The Cardinals go down. I have a HUGE amount of respect for them (although I can't stand their coach) and what they have built to get to this point now. However, they're in the same division as my team and we want the crown back.
2) The Denver Broncos must go down. My team's GM made a draft day deal with them this year in which we gave up a 2nd rounder (maybe 2) for one of their #1 picks in 2010. If they have a really bad record we won't only have 2 picks in the 1st round next year, but may also have a top 5 pick without even sucking.
You try....
I want everyone but my favorite team to go down in flames.

Come'on, you've got to have an axe to grind or a vested interest in the dowfall of another franchise....btw, who is your team?
Agreed...and everybody can tell what my team is...lol
I think #1 will happen and I pick Seattle to win the division again this year
I hope every possibility of misfortune happens to the Eagles,
I hope McChunky's arteries clog, Maclin their first round pick tears his ACL in both legs and whatever "CLs" are left, I hope Westbrook breaks his back, Desean Jackson gets shot, and Andy Reid's son dies of an alcohol overdose.
, I hope something happens to Dawkins too even though he's not even there anymore.
Seriously, I can't stand that team. Whether it's the players or the fans that love to cheer when HOF players suffer career ending injuries
Dallas has been in collapse mode over the last few years, so I'm good.
AGREED!!!!!!

ah..the haters...gotta love em.
Reality...it's what's for dinner.
lol...yes sir..agreed...but are you a fan of the Eagles? Or do you just hate the Cowboys? And if you hate the Cowboys, why do you hate them?
I actually grew up in a household full of Cowboys fans and was one when I was younger. All that changed when Jerry pushed Jimmy Johnson out...and as we all know his evil tenure as their owner has only become worse since then. As I got older I realized how much most Cowboys fans are like Lakers fans. They feel like they are disciples of God's franchise and everyone should acknowledge how superior their team is to other teams...regardless of the reality of the situation. Compounding things is the fact that I live in a city that seems to think it is little Dallas and if you root for any other team it is sacrilege. This only pushed me further away and now I like them about as much as a bad fungal infection.
As far as my team goes...I have a lot of family in Houston and I rooted for Dallas and Houston both when I was in high school. I have always felt more connected to Houston as a team and basically rooted for Dallas because my dad was a big Cowboys fan and they were easy to root for because they were winning. The pain of the Bills playoff loss was hard to swallow and it was even harder to see the team leave the city. When they brought the new franchise in I threw my loyalty in wholeheartedly. The early years have been hard...Capers, Casserly, Carr, injuries, etc...but things are looking up and with the decline of other teams in our division and a healthy team all year I think we might have a shot at the playoffs.
Well first off, ALL Cowboys fans aren't like that. Matter of fact, I think a lot of Cowboys fans should be more humble because we haven't won a playoff game in over a decade. But nonetheless..if the reason you don't root for the Cowboys is because other people tried to get you to root for them, that just makes you a nonconformist..and that's fine. And I agree it was a mistake to get rid of Jimmy Johnson, but it wasn't all Jerry. Jimmy and him had arguments, and didn't get along. That's all it was. If Jerry didn't want to win, he wouldn't have spent so much money bringing in talent. I like Houston. They're probably my second favorite team, and a Houston/Dallas Super Bowl would be heaven for me. The Oilers losing broke my heart too...but I guess being more of a Cowboys fan, I got over that. I cheer for Dallas because of the history..because of the meaning behind the star. I love my Cowboys...I understand why you don't like them, and that's fine. Some people just hate them because they've been shoved down everyone's throats..but that's not their fault. I have a feeling after this year, when Wade is gone, we'll bring in a Bill Cowher, Shanahan, or maybe even Holmgren. Jerry wants to win...he proved that by dumping TO. He wants no problems in the locker room.
The ing ans. Which I expect to happen whether the old racist drunk or the bust/wrist cutter is playing qb, either way.
I think the biggest problem is that Jerry needs more front office positions that do not include himself. He need to focus more on writing checks and let the football minds take care of football.
This is the first time(and maybe the last) that you and I totally agree on something. Die Bud Adams....and yes, I mean that.
I just think it's funny that a self-proclaimed "lifelong Cowboys fan" would be angry at how Jerry Jones forced Jimmy Johnson out, but not at how Jerry Jones forced Tom Landry out.
But I guess that also depends on how old he/she is.
Yeah, I hadn't thought about that. Someone too young to know that Jimmy stepped over the corpse of a legend to come to Dallas would get a pass.
Not sure if this was directed at me or not...but in response I was only 10 years old during Landry's last season as coach. I was much more into pro football in the early 90's when I was in middle school and started playing myself.
Corpse is about right. The game had passed Landry by years before he was fired. The manner in which Jerry fired him was wrong, but how exactly is that Jimmy's fault?
And for the record, Jimmy > Landry
a lifelong Cowboys fan would know that Tom Landry needed to retire. Be mad at how Jerry went about firing him, but it's not like he sacrificed multiple future Super Bowl appearances or possibly the greatest dynasty in football history, the way he did when Jimmy hurt his feelings.
Those Cowboys were good enough to win a Super Bowl with Barry Switzer coaching Jimmy's team. If Jimmy stuck around, 5-6 Super Bowls was not out of the realm of possibility. A four-peat was almost guaranteed, as Jimmy would never have let his team lose to San Francisco in 95.
You can't say that stuff about a 4 peat being guaranteed. If they had won that Super Bowl in 95 and 3 peated then who's to say they have the motivation left to win it in 96? Part of that 96 run was due to the embarrassment of blowing it to the 49ers in 95
