yeah! I'm a Rockets fan first and foremost. But, I can still root for both. Besides I got family ties to San Antone.
I am a Mavs fan, but yeah I am rooting hard for everything that is good and pure in the game tonight. I am rooting the Rockets.

I don't really care who wins. I'd normally want LA, but they've played like arrogant es and don't exactly deserve to move on. And I've had a really hard time not liking this Rockets team/Artest. Historically I like the Lakers much more.
So whoever, I just want a good game... and a fairly officiated game.

I don't get this. Did I go to sleep and wake up in some kind of opposite-world where the Lakers and Nuggets have excellent, respectable fanbases? Because the last I checked, all three fanbases were full of ignorant fairweather bags. And of the fans we have on here, I've found some of the Rockets posters to actually be tolerable.
So, since I really don't respect the fans of any team as a whole, I have to look at the players.
Nuggets - Full of thuggish, sissified bags + a really good point guard.
Lakers - Full of namby pamby, sissified, en led bags with a sense of en lement. There's not a single player on the Lakers I can even think about liking... well, besides Luke Walton, because he typically helps the other team more than his own.
Rockets - An assortment of strange journeymen who could be considered slightly thuggish, with Artest who's kind of a weird born-again non-thug maybe kinda sorta.
The Rockets, by far, are the only team I can even bring myself to cheer for in the West. Aside from Billups and Birdman, I'm not sure there's a player on the other two teams that I even like watching.
That makes me a Rockets fan by default. It's tough not to like Landry, and Artest is like Rodman incarnate, only he's trying to be good because he's so unstable, instead of just acting like an idiot to get attention and piss the other team off.
I think everybody wants it. But Crawford is the ref... thus, we won't get it.
