son yes. the WWE and NBA recently merged together as the same company since the NBA is heading in the direction of "sports entertainment". however they will continue to use their separate names.

Neutral site if you ask me. Phoenix, AZ. That's what they get for not trusting their team to make it far in the playoffs.

Apparently, they didn't think the Nuggets would make it to the WCF

sons the more I think about this, I think it is just part of another NBA story line. We all know that Vince and his writing crew at the WWE work very closely with Stern and the NBA ... I am betting that someone like John Cena or Triple H will make an appearance and attack Kenyon Martin leaving the crowd speechless .... TV ratings through the roof!

..lol...I guarantee you Vince will sell more tickets than the Nuggets. People come from all over the world to see the WWE..they don't come from all over to see Denver.

yeah, I watched it as a kid, and even as a young teen in 97-99, but now that I'm a little more seasoned, I'm not really into guys on roids fake fighting eachother
They don't do roids anymore..they test just like sports..even though they've acknowledged that they're entertainment..not sports...although they are DEFINITELY athletes.

When you're getting verbally owned by the guy who provides gems such as this, that's pretty sad.
NWO sucked in the WWF...it was good in WCW. I'm a WWE fan over WCW, but that was one thing I didn't like. Although watching Hulk Hogan fight The Rock was pretty cool.

They book wrestling events in advance?

I assumed they just drove around in a truck playing hillbilly music with a bunch of half naked men in the bed until a bunch of people start following them.

You blew their cover. LA was supposed to show up, then the wrestlers take the floor and beat them to a pulp. Scratch that, makes no sense, the thuggets will do that themselves.

Well..I know for a fact that they do legit tests...just like professional sports...but just like professional sports athletes, some wrestlers have ways to get away with it. Not saying they don't do roids..I know a couple of guys that I can look at and see that they do...but they are tested. They started doing it about 5 years ago. The fact is this though. These guys are entertainers...performance enhancing does nothing when the end is predetermined. It would be like testing actors for steroids. What the good does steroids do when everyone knows how it's going to end anyway? They have no laws that force them to test, but they do anyway.

LMAO..professional wrestling has more fans than almost all sports. More people spent $60 to watch the Judgment Day WWE Pay Per View on Sunday than watched either NBA playoff game for free.

I don't think it's so bad. People just have to understand it. It's not a sporting event. They don't try to put it off as a sporting event. If you take the time to watch it with an open mind, and don't think of it as something they're trying to put off as a sporting event, you can really enjoy it. My grandfather raised me on it from when I was a little boy..and I never stopped. I actually wrestled myself for a little bit in a really small indy promotion..it's a group of brothers (and sisters) that are just trying to entertain the crowd...and get that rush of stepping out there and having people cheer when they see you. But it's not about sports..everyone knows it's not a sport..it's just about entertaining the crowd...and they can definitely do that...it's a guy's soap opera.

I remember seeing it. I remember thinking Vince was off his rocker..lol. They should have gone a different route with those three guys..though it gave wrestling fans some decent matches.

Not sure what's going to happen. A wrestling source that I have is saying that next week's Raw might be cancelled. Just off the top of my head, I don't think that's ever happened.

WWE is a lot more successfull than the nuggets. Raw is usually the most highly watched show on cable television all together. Raw starts in 5 minutes.

I've already got it on. Raw usually is the most watched show alltogether every week. Even non cable networks...but it is always the most watched cable show every week.
