It was aight...nothing great...it was an okay action movie...and coming from someone who DOESN'T know the Deadpool history...I could still tell they f()cked up that character...and what was with him having no mouth...didn't quite understand that...
They covered his mouth cause styker said "You'd be the perfect soldier if we found a way to keep your mouth shut"

That being said it didn't last cause in his ending he says "oh shhhh"

It would have looked way cooler with the s ches...not that stupid skin grown over look...and what was up with his big f()ckin head...I think they missed a golden opportunity to make that "newly" formed character badass...and pretty much missed the mark...

It was meh. The CG in some scenes was laughable and they could have used Gambit more. Obviously Deadpool was gay, but I guess that's semi forgivable because it's a movie and not a huge series like comic books.

    I'd give it a C... about what I expected.
This sums it up perfectly. Deadpool was a sweet character, but not enough of him and it was kind of weak the way they killed him off.

The fire explosion scene was so bad it almost ruined the movie.

I thought they did a pretty realistic job of Gambit...not too hokey or gimmicky...didn't go overboard with the "accent"...the look was right...the charging of items was right...the glowing red eyes...very nice...

Which is how it's meant to be. Flagrantly, ridiculously, excessively Cajun. That was my only complaint with Taylor Kitsch's Gambit, though.

Finally saw it. 6 out of 10. Why don't the creators of these comic movies realize, that by re-creating the mythology behind the original books, they cut off any possibility of successfully executing a movie solely on a major crossover/storyline arc, like Maximum Carnage, Fatal Attractions, Onslaught, original Phoenix, Mutant Massacre, Dark Phoenix, INFERNO (my pick for potential greatest comic book movie story), etc.

I guess the X-men success officially ended with movie 2. There were only 3 groups of people in the theater today. Nine bucks a ticket will do that for ya.

God that deadpool thing is lame. He had every mutant power and still got his ass kicked? Lame.

Ironically, Van Wilder does seem to be the best actor to play the wise-cracking comic book character Deadpool. Can't believe I never realized what a good fit it was. Too bad they made him a total sloth- when he actually became deadpool. How's Van supposed to crack frat jokes when his mouth is sealed shut?

And how can the plausibly make a movie when they've given him god-like powers?

it was actually wasn't reynolds playing deadpool. Also maybe since the bonding process wasn't complete when he was activated he'll lose some powers

Just goes to show...I thought this was easily better than all the other X-Men movies, Spiderman movies, Batman movies...I thought it was better than Star Trek too.

What's funny is I don't even ing like Wolverine as a character either,(I'm a Superman dude)...yet this is easily my favorite Superhero movie and the first movie of any kind that I have willingly gone to see twice in the theater since Raiders of the Lost Ark. In fact I'd go see this movie again too.

CBF you should do psilocybin when you see it

Well that would certainly, uh, alter my perception of the movie's scientific credentials.

Exactly dude. For the amount of money they put into these cookiecutter blockbusters, at least hire a comic nerd to make sure you stay true to the comics to ensure LONGEVITY as well as profitability.

Newsflash hollywood, your piece of adaptations did not create the greatness and fandom that is Marvel. Marvel did. Quit ing with the system. These assholes have stagnated the comic book movie adaptation for decades.

i think it would have been better if they used that generic snarl/scream fight scene about 5 more times.

I would fund the out of these, as well as a film adaptation of Age of Apocalypse.

Dude, can you imagine? They could do an INFERNO storyline, if they had set up the ages, and relationships properly. The wolverine/sabretooth showdown would be epic, probably get the movie a damn award.

I was thinking they could still do both Days of Future Past and Age of Apocalypse, because those are blatantly altered timelines, and therefore give the writers the pass to do the mythology over, regardless of their prior movie ups.

Age of Apocalypse would be amazing, but I think would only be done right if they do a regular X-men or X-Factor movie with Apocalypse. But, seeing as how they made Juggernaut a mutant dependent on momentum (god...) that was not related to Xavier, god only knows how ing sexual and feeble they would make THE Apocalypse....that would make any future hypothetical Age of Apocalypse movie dead before it started.
