I TOOK THE ENTRANCE THIS MORNING IT WAS SO FAST TO GET ONTO 410
its about ing time.
what exit do you have to take to get to henry's puffy tacos? ingram and evers?
Yep. Take the Ingram exit, take Ingram (which turns into Wurzbach) down to Bandera and turn right.
Now to wait another million years for TXDOT to do it to Culebra...
You guys in SA about TXDOT a lot - not only does SA continually have its highways improved, but you get to drive on them for free. Contrast this with suck-ass Austin roads, which either (a) never get improved (e.g. the 4-to-3 lane compression that makes traffic totally suck downtown on I-35, and a similar 3-to-2 lane compression on MoPac going over the river - both of which have existed for decades) or (b) charge you an arm and a leg for the privilege of driving down them.
And don't even get me started on how the suckers here never seem to build a complete interchange when two freeways meet.
I remember they were just getting started with construction when I was a senior in HS.
So, is it some of the ramps, or is the whole thing open?
Thats part of the keeping Austin weird.
we wouldn't have this problem if people didn't move here so much.
Are these just outside loop 410?
(Insert Finger Swirl)
Both ramps are open. All that's left is cosmetic.
These were taken the other day during the grand opening.

I remember working near Bandera/410 back in 04 before they began construction. It's amazing what they've done to that area.
Now if they'd only do something about Braun and 1604.
It's even worse than that... when the federal stimulus money came in, instead of finishing two completely shovel ready projects (the primary requirement for the funds) namely the final direct connect ramps at I35/Ben White and 290/Mopac. Both of these projects are already designed, and the freaking connection points have already been built - they just need the spans put in.
Instead, they chose to use the money to build a toll interchange between the future Manor tollway and I35.
And no, the keep Austin weird crowd had nothing to do with it; it was the pro-toll people in TXDOT / CTRMA.
From what I understand, this is in the works, but like the Bandera ramps only go North from 410, these would only go South from 1604.
