If Denver loses, turn out the lights.
If Denver loses, turn out the lights.
If Denver had 45 FTA in Game 3, they would of won by 4 at least
Nuggets win this game by double digits. We'll see what both of these teams are really made of in game 5.
thats too bad they didnt eh
Think your guys will come out flat?
After that Houston series I'm sure of it. I have no trust in the Lakers to actually show up and take care of business when they have a chance to put a team away. Plus Melo and Billups both had bad games last game whereas Kobe and Pau both played amazing and the Lakers still barely won. The Nuggets have their back against the wall, their crowd will be going crazy so they should come out on top. Game five will be the game of the series, it will be epic.
I think the Lakers can pull this one out, assuming Pau plays like he did in the 4th.
This is usually the turning point in a series.
First two games, teams were feeling each other out. Now the better team starts to pull away. I think Lakers win the next two.
IDK, Kobe was so worn out after the last game, probably the most worn I've seen Kobe after a game in forever, same with Pau, and Ariza has a really screwed up groin. It just seems like the Lakers put all of their effort into game three, thankfully they got the win but it just feels like the Nugget should respond with a win a home.
I don't think the Nuggets can pull it off. They're simply too stupid. They blew their chance.
Well, if there is an important inbounds play late in the game they just need Billups to inbounds it, not these morons like Martin or Carter or Ariza will own them again.
There's only two guys to accept the pass ... either Billups or Anthony.
So if Billups is inbounding, the only good option left is Anthony. If Anthony's covered good, Billups will have to inbound to KMart/Nene/JR Smith. So instead of bobbling it on the sidelines, they might botch it up once they receive the ball.
One of the Nugget's biggest problems, that I didn't notice until last game, is that there really is only 1 good passer on that team and it's Billups. Nobody else is a particularly good passer.
Good point.
I agree they don't have many good passers but that Kmart behind the back pass to Birdman was pretty sweet.
Lakers got this.
Nuggets win........then win Game 5 in LA, and close it out in Game 6 in Denver. You heard it here 1st.
With how close this series has been I wouldn't be surprised at all.
I don't think the Lakers will lose another game this series. The Nuggets can't out shoot the Lakers.
true, but the nuggets can get hot, and kobe looked f'd up after the game, ariza has an injury to..its a must win for Nuggets, its there only chance
The two losses must weigh heavily on the Nuggets morale. The Lakers could end the series in the 1st quarter, if they come out sharp and build a double digit lead. I think the Nuggets would simply crumble after that.
That's a pretty damn hard thing to do in Denver, keep in mind before game three the Nuggets had won 16 straight at home on average by 19 points. Plus, what you said is exactly what people were saying after that game one loss, then in game two the Lakers got up by 14 early and the Nuggets fought their way back and won, so I don't think this Nuggets team is going to quit that easily.
son don't make yourself look like an immigrant.
I've been giving Denver way too much benefit of the doubt this whole series. Honestly, I don't know how this game will turn out. I thought that Denver might have finally left their choking playoff ways in the past but the good that Billups brings is heavily offset by the bad that Martin and Karl bring.
That said, I don't really trust LA either. There were several times during the Houston series that they looked focused and ready to take over...then suddenly they became complacent again and gave away games they should have been winning. Just because they came into Denver and took advantage of the Nuggets stupidity is not really a sign that they are shifting the momentum in this series.
I think I'll take the home team that plays well at home for this game and we will see where it heads from there.
