This definitely wins the "That's PG-13? Word?" award of the year. Seeing that preview and then seeing the PG-13 was more shocking than the scene in The Crying Game.
Seriously?
Are they freaking kidding me ????????????????
I'll never watch that
The Horror genre died when the 80's ended![]()

The man did direct evil dead so I feel obligated to give it a chance.
It's kinda like when you see a comedy come out and it has the jewish trifecta of Adam Sandler, Seth Rogan, and Jonah Hill, you're like, really? with these actors? really?
Thats how I feel when I see the preview for this.
reminds me of thinner
I'll be seeing it but I think I can wait till it comes out on DVD ....

i can never take a "horror" film seriously when its basis/plot is that of an old woman getting refused a loan and so she takes it out on the girl who declined her proposal with a curse. lame!
i felt the same way, that sort of already robbed of 2 hrs before you even see it type of feeling.
I'm going to see this today, My friend gave me 4 free passes and I hadn't even heard of it until he gave me the passes. I then watch the trailer and was not impress but I already took the tixs and going to meet him and his wife there.

its funny becuse the girl gets ed up for not helping so old lady on her morgage. thats what i do everyday lol
nice movie
ironically, thinner was originally supposed to be made by Raimi, if memory serves.
This movies sucks, Most the "scary" parts had the whole theater laughing at how cheesy lame it was.
The audience was a odd mix too there were people my age and then there were really old folks, I was like WTF? I ask my friend who works for kiss that got me the tickets and he said they also gave them to Magic 105 so that explains the older crowd.
They were
a, laughing with us or
b, trying to stay awake and then getting freak when the loud parts came out trying to scare you.
Stay far away from this movie or you will be saying "who drag me to "
yes I know that was lame
That settles it. I have to watch this movie now.
Go for it, as a comedy I give it a 7 as a horror film I give it a 2
that .
If I got cursed like that I'd pick that old hag up and DDT her ass into submission, followed by a people's elbow.
Raimi has started to decline:
- Spiderman 3
- Drag me to
Maybe you are unfamiliar with Mr. Raimi's past work, but his movies aren't meant to be taken seriously. I think this one has the potential to be awesome.
* Saw the movie today; it was below average. Not nearly goofy enough to be evil dead, and not serious enough to be scary. Jump scares don't work after their tenth use. It was gross, and I'll give them that it was effective and there were one or two scenes that were really good, but the rest of the movie sucked. The ending was lame, and so obvious that I suspected it to go in another direction. 5/10
