I know you are all basking in the thrills of the Cavs' defeat but some of you are pretty stupid
1) Lebron is not overrated, and his hype is clearly validated. He has done just as much, if not more, than what Kobe has done with his supporting cast. He is averaging over 40ppg in this series- say what you want about him, but you can't say he sucks or he is overrated. The guy is a beast.
2) The Magic are playing out of their minds right now, and the Cavs have been playing poorly. For example, Rafer Alston can't miss a 3, while even banking them in at times. Everything if falling their way. Where on the other hand, Mo Williams and Delonte West can't hit anything- neither can Gibson, but that has been all year.
Last night the Magic made 17 3's, shooting over 44%. I don't know any team in the league that can beat a team that makes 17 3's. I know you guys will fail to read this, but the Cavs scoring 100 points last night should have been enough to win- the 3's were the difference.
Now, going forward. Only 1 game has been decisive. If the breaks go the other way like Delonte gets that board last night, or hits the shot in game 1, of they don't shoot 50% from 3, the Cavs could be looking at a 3-1 lead in the series. So while I get that you are all jealous of the attention Lebron gets over your team, and that is why you hate the Cavs, let's call it like it is: The Magic have peaked, and the Cavs are still in it- hanging by a thread, but still in it none the less.
Finally
Lebron is the best player in the NBA
Mo Williams sucks

Alright now...don't lump us all together. Laker fan does not speak for everyone. So while I get that you are all jealous of the attention Lebron gets over your team
That was directed towards a boatload of Suns, Spurs, Mavs, and Rockets fans on this board that bask in every Cavs loss and pin it all on Lebron when the guy is scoring 40-something points on like 20 shots. The guy is a beast. Mo Williams just didn't show up this post season. If Mo plays like he did in the regular seasons, the Cavs are at home resting for the Finals. Instead, Mo decided to play like Larry Hughes.
The magic have been playing out of their minds for 3 series in a row. Those 3's aren't a fluke dude, they've been falling for damn near a month's worth of basketball. And if LJ doesn't hit a miracle shot this series is over. I agree w/point #1 though.
Is lies! All Racist lies! Long live the overrated Queen.
At this point I think Lebron needs to play 45-48 minutes per game.
His +/- was actually + in Games 1 and 4 losses. Although - in the Game 2 win.
Orlando came into the series shooting 32% from 3
The Last Couple Games
Game 1: (9/20) 45%
Game 2: (10/23) 43.5%
Game 3: (6/17) 33.5%
Game 4: (17/38) 44.7%
That is called shooting lights out. If they shoot even 37% a night, the Cavs are 3-1 right now, not even assuming the Cavs shoot any better than they are right now
Cavs have GOT to defend the pick and roll better. That has been getting them all kinds of open 3's. STOP GOING UNDER THE DAMN PICKS.
Some of them are not well contested, but alot of them are. When Rafer Alston is banking in shots, and Pietrus is hitting fade-away 3's over Lebron, you are hard to beat.
Magic shot like 39-40% from 3 in regular season v Cavs too
Don't think it's a fluke.
Although last night was a little insane.
Exactly.
I said before the series, Cleveland's D is designed by nature to pack the paint and conced the 3 - exactly what Orlando wants to shoot. Cleveland made a mistake by not doing what Orlando does - they should be playing Howard 1 on 1 and daring him to score 40 and stay at home on the shooters. Instead they are doubling on the catch which feeds the Orlando ball movement for the 3.
Well, I guess you can keep waiting for the 3s to stop falling..just like Boston and Philly.
another another message from thunder dan:
"Lebron.....mmmrprh......is.......mmmppprh......th e best........mrmmrrr slurp......player.........slurrrrrrrp........in the.....[gulp].....nba....."
+1. But what is also killing them is the pick roll with Turk & Howard. Its either a Howard dunk or an open 3 for someone. I guess you're saying let Howard have all the dunks he wants...its worth a try at this point.
if they shoot 40% the Cavs are up 3-1
Once Alston started making threes, you'd think the Cavs would start defending him. Yet he kept getting open look after open look. While the Magic have shot the ball extraordinarily well this series, the Cavs defense has done a horrible job adjusting to the hot shooting. The aren't rotating crisply, and their recover and contest defense is weak.
LeBron isn't overrated but he played poorly yesterday down the stretch and I think he choked in crunch time. All of his turnovers late cost the Cavs the game. Without LeBron, the Cavs aren't even in the game. But he absolutely deserves criticism for how he closed out the game. He's too good to have played so poorly at the end of the game.
Well I agree this series could easily be 3-1 Cleveland.
It ain't over yet fo sho.
I wonder what Cavs fan opinion on the refs is. I doubt they are even aware at how incredibly rigged these games are and how pathetic it is that the Cavs still can't win.
Make no mistake, the NBA is going to make sure King James gets a ring. May not happen this year, but at some point in the next 5 he will for sure.
And the Magic are hitting 3's because they are WIDE OPEN. I don't see any of them being consistently run off the 3pt line. If the Cavs frontcourt wasn't so pathetic they wouldn't need to double Howard, that is what's killing them along with their crappy P&R defense.
Can't argue that.
My BIGGEST problem with the Cavs is the lack of energy and hustle that they had been doing all season. They are getting massively outhustled which gives the Magic a lot of momentum, and feeds into their 3pt shooting. Cavs need to start playing more physical and with more heart. Their heart is what had carry a team massively lacking in talent over the past few years. This playoffs, it seems like their heart suddenly disappeared.
Please die.
Thunder, nobody hates the cavs. What we dislike is the ing hype and the lack of respect of the media and of the refs for Denver and Orlando.
Regarding LBJ, he is the best no question but the cavs are not a team and a team is always > individual. Now I don't think this serie is over.
KBP? lol
First: Lebron is good enough to win a ring. He doesn't need the refs to get it, he needs his teammates to play to their potential
Second: I see calls go both ways. When you hate the Cavs/Lebron, and you expect them to get all the calls, it's easy to sit and watch a game and notice all the calls they get. However, the Magic are getting calls too. The Cavs were getting all of their calls when they were playing agressive- just like the Nuggets the other night, when they became passive, they didn't get any calls
If you are referring to the last play on Howard, you must really just hate the Cavs and not have a partial bone in your body. First, he pulled Anderson into him, and held onto him, and Second, do you want a game ending with .5 seconds left on a call that could have gone either way? I mean I know YOU do, but the league doesn't. The Cavs got screwed out of a call in Indiana over a call like that, it shouldn't happen like that in the Playoffs.
