Magic- a beast in the middle + 3 point shooters

Suns - a beast in the middle + 3 point shooters

I mean if the suns have just played some defense like magics do , they would be a even better version of the Magic since they lead the league in offensive efficiency.

If your referring to the Suns beast as in Amare, he is nothing like Dwight. Howard plays on the low block and draws double teams that way.....Amare plays off the pick n roll and from what i recall was not doubled

If Dwight Howard is a beast then the word beast has lost some of its cachet.

Shaq isn't and never was as good as Howard on defense and rebounding, and the converse is true on offense.

Nash is a much better playmaker than Turkoglu.

The Magic are one of the three best defensive teams in the NBA, and the Suns most assuredly are not.

    Not much of a comparison.

I think the Suns outside shooting is no where on par with Orlando too. Too easy for teams to clog up the middle on them or double shaq.

Also what was said above, the Suns lost their good 3 point shooting and they don't play defense.

lol comparing Amare to a defensive player of the year.

Amare's got a better chance of winning the sportsmanship award than he does winning the defensive player of the year award.

Just a shame what our beloved Nash and Dirk have been through

'03 Dirk gets hurt, costing Nash/Dirk a le
'05 Joe Johnson gets hurt, costing PHX a le
'06 ref screwjob, costing Dirk a le. Amare hurt for Nash
'07 fluke Warriors shots + bull technicality suspensions.

History will remember our guys as players who couldn't get it done, well history can suck it, our heroes were just unlucky as .

yep a D specialist, a dominant big who open the trees, good 3 shooters, another big who can shoot the 3 and run, coaching style in much younger and athletic.

no...despite the image media geniuses have been putting out, the Buns were never a serious le contender. not since 93-95 anyway.
it sounds cliche but they never played defense. the magic do. even if we didnt stomp them in '05, the Pistons would have. in '07 the Jazz would have offed them in the WCF. their one chance was maybe '06 since that year was tainted as a taint

As everyone here knows I'm not a suns fan that likes to dwell and glorify the 2007 team..........with that said the above statement is wildly re ed.
