It's a three game series and the Lakers have two games at home, I think their is a little more then just a "chance" we can "pull out" the series. We aren't down 3-1 like the almighty Cavs.
I'll give you that, but the games you've played at home haven't been too convincing, whereas Denver lost on foolishness in Game 3 and respectfully held serve in Game 4. I think the Lakers are a more threatening team offensively, but it hasn't been flowing very well and giving up the 2nd chance opportunities is burying your guys. Still, I think you may very well live to fight another day when it's all said and done.

No, Denver was outplayed down the stretch by the Lakers in game 3. Plain and simple. Whereas Denver was gifted game 2 by the refs (see the obvious non-call on the jump ball).

Well, this is it for the Lakers. They lose tonight the series is over, it will get UGLY up in Denver in game six if they lose tonight, game six vs. Boston all over again. I know they know this too so I expect extreme hustle and effort from everyone. Somebody needs to step up already, you'd think it would be Lamar, but that guy just plain sucks so probably not. Maybe Bynum can have a breakout game... probably not. I guess our only hope is Kobe goes for 50 and Pau goes for 30 and Ariza chips in with 10 and we hold Denver under 90. Those are really the only three players that have played close to well this entire series.

We've seen McCutchen and Washington before. Pretty vanilla, IIRC, average refs who do an average job. Which means L.A. will actually have to show up if they want to win this one.

Which means they're likely ed. Ha.

You know the refs will play a part in this game. They have been through all 3 games and throughout the PO's. The flagrant on Bynum was later changed a regular foul, just like the flagrant on Artest that was also changed. The refs have been nothing short of a joke. They make ridiculous calls that aren't flagrant just to have the league change it later, and don't make the calls when it's an obvious one. I expect the T on Howard to be rescinded as well.

That said, I hope the Lakers come out playing better tonight. Give more efforts and hustle, box out, rebound, make their FTs, and all the little things needed to win the game. I heard LO reaggravated his sore lower back and needed extra padding to protect his bruise. Maybe that had something to do with his performance. The guy is hurt but he's still playing...so gotta give him credit for that.

LO was beasting on the boards before he got hurt.

Hopefully he can recover because we need him to really only do that for us.

He was playing better the games right after he got hurt then he is right now. You'd think two weeks later he would feel better and play better. Credit the Thuggets I guess, or LO is just too stoned, like always.

Yeah...that's what I figured...they'll have regular, middle-of-the-road refs for Game 5, because it's not a closeout game for either team. Stern is saving his fixers for Game 6 and/or Game 7, depending on who wins.
