We played horrible for three quarters, but stepped up when we needed to. We have to play MUCH better to win it all but tonight was a great start. LAMAR ING ODOM!!!!

The Lakers just need to live up to about 80% of their ability and they'll waltz to a championship. Who you trying to kid?

I 100% agree. But we are playing nowhere near our potential right now, and FINALLY someone stepped up.

It really is kind of a joke to make a thread about this. They should have been waiting for the Finals a week ago.

Lamar has been INVISIBLE, and finally he showed up, that deserves a thread. The Nuggets are a really good team, stop trying to deny that.

Really is pathetic to see L.A.'s effort dip so often. Denver might run them off the floor Friday because the Lakers know they'll still come back home on Sunday.

Sadly, I can't deny this but we needed this game and a player that has SUCKED this entire series finally stepped up so I can't complain tonight.

I'm not saying they aren't. I am saying that watching a Lakers team that only tries when it wants to is nauseating...especially on defense. If they played at the defensive level they are capable of playing throughout the playoffs then they would be where I said they would be in my previous post.

Laker "fans" are the most superficial, out of touch with reality, bandwagon, flip-flopping, nut-hugging ass clowns on the board.

I think you're not giving the other team credit when they play better then the Lakers, they're giving effort they just aren't as good sometimes. I seriously think you're discrediting the Nuggets offense. Yes the Lakers defense has sucked but that's because they aren't a good defensive team. The Nuggets are a great offensive team and are hard to defend. We just got lucky they missed some shots they usually make and we got a few blocks.

When your defense was laxed, Denver drove it down your throat and moved the ball efficiently.

When your defense stepped up, Denver went into Chuckfest to try and salvage the game.

Lmao Odom is an underrated piece that has been fenced by Kobe's brightness, in fact Lmao can play like a superstar once needed. I think the Lakers will not let him walk this summer even that means a long garbage contract being added to their poll.

I disagree, Ariza is younger, more upside, more consistent, is needed more for his position he plays and probably will be cheaper. Lamar only shows up every 8 days, and can be extremely soft and still can't make FT's. I love that he finally showed up and had a great game but I don't expect him to be a Laker next year. We need a grinder off the bench at the 4 next year, and a full season of a healthy Bynum. Lakers just can't afford Lamar and Ariza next year, unless we can trade Sasha or Morrison, Ariza will be resigned and Lamar will walk.
