I guess Spurs can officially forget about him forever now if this comes true. It is rumors already that he will sign with CSKA which is the 2nd biggest club in world outside NBA.

Yet another player stays in Europe/Asia, although whether or not he'll get paid all the money he's en led to remains to be seen.

This should come as no surprise to anyone. I've said it before, if this guy wanted to play for the Spurs, he would've already been here.

Honestly, the fans were the only ones still following his career after his accident.

According to Lrytas.lt, CSKA Moscow is targeting Lithuanian big man Robert Javtokas.

The contract of the center with Dinamo Moscow will expire at the end of the season and the player will not stay in Dinamo due to the financial troubles the club faced all season long.

With Splitter, Scola, Javtokas ect... I do think the Spurs should discuss what plans the foreign player has before wasting a draft pick on him.

I agree. Stop drafting a guy for the sake of drafting someone. See what are their plans. Talk to them. Make sure their contract is one they can get out of and won't cost too much. They really need to do a better job of drafting.

Sometimes, the grass is greener on the other side (of the Atlantic) and sometimes, it’s not.

In an April 26 blog entry on his official website, Boki Nachbar writes about how he and other players haven’t been getting paid by Dinamo Moscow, which was sponsored by a Moscow real estate developer, and what his plans are…

(Translated from the Slovenian…with a little license)

“It became clear in December that the salaries and other commitments to the players started to be very much delayed. I think that we somehow managed (especially with team spirit) to overcome the first months of the crisis til February.

“When I was named best forward in the EuroCup, no one from the club congratulated me.

“Currently, the club in a very difficult situation and it will be interesting to see if it can ever manage to improve things, especially financially. Naturally, my future depends on it. My contract binds me to Dinamo for the next two seasons, but in the contract are stipulations that permit me to leave, especially to the NBA. I wouldn’t be fair to myself if I didn’t consider all the options that will be presented in the following months. I just need to. I have begun ruling on all this by starting to prepare with my agent

That was a proven lie in a Greek court. Club financial issue is FACT. Nachbar not being paid is LIE.
