kobe has a player option in 2010 will he jump ship if lakers cant win a le this year or next.... ,why I posted this in the spurs forum, would he join the spurs at a cut rate to win a le? I know its head in clouds type thinking but spurs will have considerable money to offer him and playing next to tony and timmy (and possible manu) would make them favorites for years. He wouldnt jumb from LA LA land for anything other than winning a le.

he won't join us. he wants to "prove" to the world that HE can take a team to the promise land........man but what a thought. A line up featuring Tim, Tony, Manu, and Kobe, what a dream......i haven't had one of those type of dreams since high school!!
I was thinking more in terms of a magic wizard coming and sprinkling dust on Timmy's knee and Manu's ankle so that they would live forever and also give them super powers. If Tim and Manu and also Tony had super powers I think the Spurs would be favorites for a very long time.
Then Tim could use his super powers to do mind control on Lebron and Dwyane Wade and all the other free agent stars so they would come to the Spurs for the minimum.
Then the lineup could be:
Starters:
Tony
Manu
Lebron
Tim
Dwight Howard
Bench:
Chris Paul
Kobe
Wade
Carmelo
KG
Tim's clone (I forgot Tim would also have the power to clone himself)
Yao (for the international fans)
I think that team would be awesome. Also, maybe Manu could use his superpowers to give me a million dollars and also a Wii.

Similar speculation last time Kobe was a free agent. He won't leave LA and I don't really want a guy with his type of at ude on the team. He's just not what the Spurs are about.
The guy won't do it. Are we really willing to sell our soul to the devil for a shot at some championships? It would really kill what the Spurs have stood for all of these years. It's all about TEAM, and TEAM comes first. Kobe is the complete opposite of that.
