Even your burns look rich.
Happened to me last weekend...
I was out on a 25,000 acre ranch in West Texas doing manlyman things with a bunch of my friends over the memorial day weekend...shooting prairie dogs, climbing mountains, BBQing lots of red meat, exploring the back canyons on ATV's and UTV's we hauled out there, and consuming large quan ies of alcohol.
Basically just an above average cosmiccowboy weekend with 4 saturdays. (we left on Thursday)
Anyway, Sunday morning I was waiting on my buddies to shake off their hangovers and saw the rancher working over at his barn...
I went over there and he was fixing a broken bracket on his tractor and I started to help him...At one point a piece needed to be ground to a bevel so it could be welded and I went over to a bench grinder to prep it...
I didn't know he had some greasy parts soaking in some gasoline in the bottom of a 5 gallon bucket near there...
oops
I assume a grinding spark set off the fumes and fortunately I sensed it before I heard the KAWHOOM! and had just started to turn and jerk back when the fireball hit me right in the chest...
luckily I remembered to hit the ground and belly flopped to put my flaming shirt out really quick...I basically just ended up with second and second plus burns in a triangle shaped area from my chin down and the area outlined by my shirt collar...plus one slightly charred ear and a tiny burned place on my lip and the end of my nose...I was EXTREMELY lucky...if I hadn't started to jerk back it would have hit me right in the face...
Anyway...drove back Monday and went to the doc-in-the-box Monday night...since then I've had the pleasure of scrubbing the wound with soap and water 4 times a day and then reapplying the antibacterial cream...It's actually healing pretty fast and I might even have enough skin grown back by Monday to go to work...Tuesday it was just a bloody mess so I couldn't really wear a shirt because it would bleed through...I've been stylin stretched out wife beaters all week...
I'm keeping my fingers crossed that it's not gonna scar or if it does that it's not too bad...I don't need some big ropey white scar on my throat detracting from my movie star good looks

Damn, that sucks. It's a good thing you understood what was happening.
...and what the is that guy doing soaking parts in gas. Ever hears of WD-40 or PB blaster....carb cleaner works pretty good too. liquid dawn is better than gasoline.
Same to you. Just make sure when that guy has your nutsack in one hand and a scalpel in the other that he cuts where he is supposed to.

The stache, hair, and eyebrows are fine...all the upper chest hair burned off though...when that forest caught fire I think thats what made the burn worse...it sure stunk in that barn for a little bit...

Glad it didn't turn out nearly as bad as it could have. What are some good mountains to climb in West Texas?
It's was a big ranch in west Texas. It has a 6000' mountain on it that is shown on state maps plus several others.
You need to get out more.
I knew TlongII was an ass but now I know why. Anyone who defends Vick and says it's ridiculous has no heart. It makes sense now why TlongII never post any pictures of his kids, he has none, that is why he so callus about life.
In a way its a good thing, who wants to have a father that thinks drowning an animal is ok? If only it was TlongII's chest that caught fire and his balls were removed this word would be a better place.

Most of them are in private property but Big Bend and Davis Mountains State Park have some good ones.

I hate stuff like that...I was walking at the mall looking for a new man-bag & I was wearing some uncomfortable shoes & got a blister…I had to apply ointment & apply a band aid for a week…Forget about getting a pedicure while that thing was healing…
