Billups is a full fledged re , he became a three point chucker in a close out game. He fits right in with the team now.

The Nuggets have a lot of talent...but do not make smart basketball plays when it really matters.
For example, Kenyon Martin killing a run by holding Sasha's leg. Sasha gets 2 free throws and pushes their lead back to 13.
In the Conference Finals and NBA Finals...the little plays matter because both teams are evenly matched or close to it. And the team's BBIQ has to be high.
The Nuggets have to get over that hump (not to self-destruct) in order to win a championship!!!

The Spurs went out in the first round of playoffs for the first time in 9 years. The Lakers had a couple of first round flameouts in the middle of the decade. It does happen!!

The Spurs were the 3 seed and had Tony Parker and Tim Duncan. The Lakers flared out as the 8/7 seed with Smush Parker and Kwame Brown starting.
Kobe leads the Lakers to their second straight trip to the finals, something Pop and Duncan were never able to do, sadly.
Lakers will win the finals, prepare for the mediagasm.
Kobe Bryant is a y ass son of a ...I hope the Magic or Cavs spank that ass in the Finals. It would be fun to watch him fail AGAIN.

Yeah and the Spurs were missing Manu who is just as important as Tim and Tony.
But every team (even the Lakers) will have seasons that ended shorter than usual.
