Why do you type everything in bold?
When it comes to the matchups, I'm greatly concerned. Nobody (except Yao?) can stop Dwight. But Bynum will not be the immobile pushover Z was. Lewis and Turk are matchup nightmares, but LA has the length and athleticism in Lamar Odom and former Magic player Trevor Ariza to keep up with them.
Who will cover Gasol, who is not as soft as he was before? Does that mean bringing Battie more often? If so, that sacrifices scoring opportunities. I expect to see Gortat and Battie a lot more active in this series, unless Orlando's offense is really kicking it.
Why do you type everything in bold?
The Lakers have no answer for Dwight Howard...Bynum will be fouled out by the 3rd quarter. The Orlando 3s will fall like rain. The Magic will just go out there and beat an overrated Lakers team they're supposed to beat. No surprises there. Magic in 5.
Gortat can disrupt Pau's hookshot and no Laker fan has any idea which Lamar will show up....he played like garbage for much of the last series. Should be interesting who they decide to have Ariza defend when Turk and Rashard are both out there.
SVG has occasionally used Gortat and Howard both on the floor at the same time. This series might be a good time to pull that out with Gasol and Bynum both on the floor. The Howard/Gortat tandem is one of the few in the league that would completely own the Lakers bigs on the boards.
Good point.
odom has to be a monster this series
fisher will get owned by alson
Ariza is going to choke in the finals
watch
And yet the Lakers lost in 2004 and 2008 Finals
What is hilarious is how time after time you stick your foot in your mouth with moronic comments and yet never learn. Teams that win the first game of a series go on to win more than 70% of the time. Phil Jackson teams that win the first game have won 100% of the time. He's like 43-0.. or something close to that.
BTW... your boys don't have to worry about anything other than what bait to use.
You won't be anywhere NEAR here if the Lakers lose. There will be some still here to give props if the Magic win, but I guarantee you won't be one of them.
Yep. There are exceptions that prove us wrong. I hope the Magic is one of them.
Go Lakers!
I think the Finals is either going to be the Magic and Howard spanking Kobe and the Lakers or vice versa. I don't think the series is going to be that compe ive. I don't see a lot of close games in this series. If the Lakers lose game 1, then I would say they're gonna lose the series. Game 1 is more important to the Lakers than it is to the Magic.
If the season series gives any indication, the Finals should be close. Another question, being that some are focusing on the possible absence/rust of Jameer Nelson....was Bynum playing in either of the 2 games because he was playing better early on the season before he got hurt....better how he's been playing in the playoffs anyway.
Ill be here win or lose. If the Lakers lose ill give props. If they win... ill be here to shove it down your ridden throat. You guarantee!!! HAHAHAHAHA
We'll see troll....and don't be mad because I'm not or your team's bandwagon....when did you get on it, last year?![]()
Not mad at all. I couldnt care less what you do. And i have had season tix to the Lakers longer than you have been alive. Go figure... you're wrong AGAIN!
Sure you aren't, sure you have, and I'm sure I am troll.![]()
Did you call me a troll? OMG, what ever will I do? I am sooooooo hurt! Life is so unfair!![]()
At least you troll with pride little one.![]()
agree on Odom ...Alston? Seriously?! We played him many times in the West only way he hurts us if we put Kobe on him to help and leave him wide open ...
Pietrus worries me more ...
My prediction Lakers win in 6 ...
We win a close game One and a 8 pt win in Game 2
We lose by double digits in Game 3
A strong close road win in Game 4
A tough loss in Game 5
A surprisingly eay double digit win in Game 6
Howard, Pietrus and Rashard scare me ... we handle everyone else ...
I think the first two at home the Lakers win handily.
It's the middle three that will be very difficult. I think the Lakers squeak out one of the three road games.
Thank god for no Jameer Nelson, he torched the Lakers like there was no tomorrow.
