Lakers will kill them. I called the magic and Lakers facing off, and the lakers winning in 5 or 6

I'm surprised that the experts at ESPN are predicting a long series. I think that Kobe won't let the Lakers lose this Finals. He knows that he has to win this Finals for his legacy, reputation, and sanity. If he loses in the Finals this year, I bet he will go crazy and rape another white girl or something.

Might not be anything he can do about it in the end if they do lose.

I really think this is Kobe's last shot at a championship without Shaq. If he loses this time, I don't think he will ever win one by himself.

LA has two long threes in Odom and Ariza to throw at Turkoglu and Lewis, a legit center in Bynum to throw at Howard, and a 1+2 punch of Bryant and Gasol on the offensive end that Orlando isn't going to match. This should be an easy series for LA. If Nelson was healthy and playing I'd say it'd be a dogfight, but he's not and it won't be.

Don't know about it being an easy series. It's hard for Bynum to defend guys without fouling them and that leaves Pau to try and go toe-to-toe with Dwight. Pau is going to be a tough guard for the Magic if Dwight plays Bynum. Kobe's going to be a tough guard but I like Pietrus defending him. Odom is a wildcard because you don't know what you're going to get from him....as I mentioned earlier in the season, I knew his lazier, undisciplined alter-ego would show up at some point. I also look forward to Ariza continuing to be hesitant to shoot when semi-open.

Should be interesting to see if they put him on Pau to start; would definitely not be an easy matchup. But at least he won't be hacking the out of guys he can't stay in front of like SOME big men we know.

I went back and watched the last game these two teams played against each other.

Phil started the Bynum/Gasol lineup in that game. Defensively the Magic didn't seem to have many answers for the Lakers. Lots of high percentage points in the paint. Kobe was able to score at an efficient rate as well.

The one player that really stood out on the Magic was Jameer Nelson. I dare say he single-handedly won the game for them. Just clutch 3 after 3, driving in and out of the lanes and causing massive havoc for LAL's porous defense. All I have to say is thank god he is not playing, otherwise this would be a far different matchup.

Well, the team likely won't have Jameer to lean on offensively, but Rafer can still get into the lanes (like Chauncey did when he actually focused more on that than jacking up 3's) and create for his teammates and even push the tempo like he did in the series with Boston towards the end. The only good thing about the timing of Jameer's injury was that it gave the team enough time to get acclimated to playing without him.

    +1

Although I think either Courtney Lee or Pietrus will be big if they make it a 6 game series.

Ariza will most likely guard Lewis and I think you're forgetting about Odom. He can definitely guard either of those two players. He has the height, length and versatility.

I also disagree that Howard will have a "field day" he will have an advantage no doubt but he will be going up against actual seven footers this series unlike against the pathetic Cavs frontcourt.
Last time I checked, Illguaskas is a legit 7'1, Varejao 6'11

Hate to blow smoke on your already planned laker parade, but Gasol and Bynum aren't exactly physical specimens. Neither one will defend well against Howard's combination of strength and quickness.

The only guy so far who has really been able to slow Howard down was Kendrick Perkins.

I am going to be when Howard tears the laker's interior defense to shreds.

Yeah..so I'm just completely wrong. There's no way in Orlando could POSSIBLY win if LA wins the first game. You are an idiot. Oh..and streaks? They're meant to be broken. 43-0? Sounds like you're jinxing your Lakers...if they win Game 1, I'd love to see what happens. You have no one to guard Howard...if Orlando continues their hot streak from behind the arc, LA can be beat...period...doesn't matter who wins Game 1.
So you are telling me you actually believe anything I or anyone else here posts actually has a bearing on the outcome of the games? And you are calling me the idiot?

I can guarantee you rignt now he will NEVER EVER win one by himself. In fact, nobody has in the history of the game.

With that said, the Lakers are solid for the next 3 to 5 years. Kobe and his teamates will have more chances regardless of this years outcome.

Gasol is a lot quicker then Z and Bynum has the length and size to possible try and slow him down. Also the Cavs played Ben Wallace on Howard a lot in that last game, that's pathetic. Dwight probably will play well but won't score 40 on us every game. You go ahead and LYAO at us playing in the finals while your Spurs have been fishing for two months now..

What games have you been watching? Ariza has been anything but hesitant to take the open shot and is a major factor in the Lakers making it to the Finals.

Pathetic move to try and put a former DPOY in there to guard Howard? How illogical.

You must have missed all the 3's he passed up when Denver was leaving him wide open.

You may be fishing with us though if Dwight does go off. Gasol would just get into foul trouble trying to guard him.

Are you seriously defending Ben Wallace as a player nowadays? Holy , it ain't 04 anymore, Wallace is a 6'8 injured worn down of a player that shouldn't even be in the league anymore. He has no hope at guarding Howard and that showed. What a ing moron you are. I'm not replying to whatever bull you spew out next.
