I agree Dwight is overrated to some extent, his offensive game in particular, but he's a lot better than a "good role player".

Dumb thread by a dumb poster. There is a lot more to basketball than just scoring. Howard is a dominant defender and a dominant rebounder. Yes his offensive game is limited to dunks and point blank shots but he still put up 40 last game in a closeout game. Not to mention that his presence is what makes the magics style of play possible. Without him Hedo doesn't get those shots. Of all people a Spurs fan should know the importance of a good big man. Think before you post breath.
Even if scoring was all that mattered Howard averaged more points while attempting less shots during the regular season and out scored Turk in 4 out of the 6 games during the Cleveland series. Funny thing about that is that the 2 games Turk outscored Dwight were the two games Orlando lost.
40/14 in a closeout game going 12-16 from the FT line...
I'm a big critic of Howard's offensive abilities but HEDO? Hedo's only playing well because he's bored of choking in the playoffs. Even then, he was VERY inconsistent in the last series against CLE.
The Center position is important but not as important as the perimeter players these days. Pick your 5 players you'd want to go to war with and yeah Dwight would be on that team and so would Kobe.

It seems as if you're actually the Laker fan. The one victory Phoenix had over LA this season came when Nash was injured and Shaq was the focal point of the offense. You clearly don't want more victories over LA next season, or else you'd want them to keep Shaq and trade Nash.
