Was Tiller's Murder a Staged, State-Sponsored Terror Attack?

There's a good chance that this shooting was done by an agent provocateur, in an attempt to advance the pro-abortion and anti-gun movement.

    * No evidence has been presented that Roeder did the shooting.

    * Roeder was 170 miles away when arrested.

    * The police are continually telling us that Roeder is linked to militant anti-abortion groups, but at the same time tell us he acted alone, before the investigation has even started.

    * Roeder has never been a member, volunteer or contributor to Operation Rescue.

    * Roeder posted some comments on the Operation Rescue forum that are peaceful in nature.

    * Roeder has no history of violence. Criminologists can tell you that it is very rare for non-violent people to suddenly become violent after the age of 50.

    * Roeder opposed abortion, which is his right to believe.

    * Roeder was pro-life, which contradicts the notion that he would kill someone.

    * Roeder is being called a "lone nut", just like Lee Harvey Oswald and many other scapegoats of history.

    * They keep telling us Roeder has a criminal record, even though the appeals court threw out his conviction because of government misconduct.

    * The crime Roeder was accused of did not involve any initiation of force against another person, it was a regulatory technicality.

    * Roeder's vindictive & disgruntled ex-wife is being quoted in the news.

    * No eyewitnesses saw Roeder at the crime scene.

    * They did not get the license plate of the vehicle that left the scene, which makes his arrest su ious and the ID of him unreliable.

    * Roeder is a political activist. Shooting an abortion doctor does not benefit his cause, it benefits the cause of his political opponents.

    * If Roeder is really crazy, why has he not spoken to the media? If Roeder is not crazy, then this entire case makes no sense at all.

    * Roeder is a political activist who has the nation's attention. Why has he not talked to the media? Why does the news only report one side of the story?

    * Where is the smoking gun?

Not all pro-life people support the death penalty. What Roeder's views on the death penalty are, is unknown.

Also, most people who favor the death penalty favor it only for murder, usually first degree murder.

Being in favor of the death penalty for murder is the exact opposite of being in favor of murdering people, which is what someone did to Tiller.

It is obvious from the media coverage that the "authorities" are attempting to convict Roeder in the media. Usually when this is done, they trumpet the strongest evidence. In this case, no real evidence has been trumpeted, possibly because the evidence has not been manufactured yet.

Roeder is presumed innocent unless proven guilty.

Beware 'Lone Nut' Theory in Tiller's Murder

    ....

    Beware the 'Lone Nut' Theory

Few major antiabortion crimes are carried out by lone nuts.

In fact, the known perpetrators have historically been neither nuts nor alone. The crimes are generally well planned and involve a number of people who provide varying degrees of support, before and after the fact, witting or unwitting.

Tiller was the victim of a previous assassination attempt, in which he was wounded in both arms. His assailant was the then Oregon-based Rac e "S y" Shannon, a longtime antiabortion militant who had previously protested at Tiller's clinic and knew the layout.

In the wake of her arrest, the feds dug up from her backyard the first real evidence of the existence of the underground Army of God, in the form of the "Army of God Manual," which detailed how to engage in attacks on clinics and staff.

Shannon had traveled the west in a remarkable crime spree, squirting butyric acid into clinics (which produces a horrifying, unbearable stench) and committing a series of arsons. Among her un-indicted co-conspirators was a couple who provided a safe house on her journeys--as well as gas cans later used in the arsons.

Prosecutors do not always have enough evidence to prove that such people are witting participants in the crimes. But this is no surprise. We are familiar with such underground networks from real and fictional stories of criminal gangs and covert intelligence operations. People understand that information is often on a need-to--know basis and often the less one knows, the better for everyone.

Not any more than the murder of a military recruiter in Arkansas.

    http://mic emalkin.com/2009/06/03...imate-of-hate/

When a right-wing Christian vigilante kills, millions of fingers pull the trigger. When a left-wing Muslim vigilante kills, he kills alone. These are the instantly ossifying narratives in the Sunday shooting death of Kansas late-term abortionist George Tiller versus the Monday shootings of two Arkansas military recruiters.

Tiller’s suspected murderer, Scott Roeder, was white, Christian, anti-government, and anti-abortion. The gunman in the military recruiting center attack, Abdul Hakim Mujahid Muhammad, was black, a Muslim convert, anti-military, and anti-American. Both crimes are de able, cowardly acts of domestic terrorism. But the disparate treatment of the two brutal cases by both the White House and the media is striking.

President Obama issued a statement condemning “heinous acts of violence” within hours of Tiller’s death. The Justice Department issued its own statement and sent federal marshals to protect abortion clinics. News anchors and headline writers abandoned all qualms about labeling the gunman a terrorist. An almost gleeful excess of mainstream commentary poured forth on the climates of hate and fear created by conservative talk radio, blogs, and Fox News for reporting Tiller’s activities.

By contrast, President Obama was silent about the military recruiter attacks that left 24-year-old Private William Long dead and 18-year-old Private Quinton Ezeagwula gravely wounded. On Tuesday afternoon – more than 24 hours after the attack on the military recruiting center in Little Rock – President Obama held a press conference to announce his pick for Army Secretary. It would have been exactly the right moment to express condolences for the families of the targeted Army recruiters and to condemn heinous acts of violence against our troops.

But President Obama said nothing. The Justice Department was mum. And so were the legions of finger-pointing pundits happily convicting the pro-life movement and every right-leaning writer on the planet of contributing to the murder of George Tiller. Obama’s omission, it should be noted, comes just a few weeks after he failed to mention the Bronx jihadi plot to bomb synagogues and a National Guard airbase during his speech on homeland security.

Why the silence? Politically and religiously-motivated violence, it seems, is only worth lamenting when it demonizes opponents. Which also helps explain why the phrase “lone shooter” is ubiquitous in media coverage of jihadi shooters gone wild – think convicted Jeep Jihadi Mohammed Taheri-Azar at the University of North Carolina-Chapel Hill or Israel-bashing gunman Naveed Haq who targeted a Seattle Jewish charity or Los Angeles International Airport shooter Hesham Hedayet who opened fire at the El Al Israeli airline ticket counter– but not in cases involving rare acts of anti-abortion violence.

Even Jeffrey Goldberg of the left-leaning Atlantic magazine noticed the double standards. He called attention to a National Public Radio report on the military recruiter attack that failed to mention the religion and anti-military animus of the suspect. Wrote Goldberg: “Why not tell people what is actually happening in the world? We saw this a couple of weeks ago, when the press only gingerly acknowledged that the malevolent though incompetent suspects in the synagogue bombing-conspiracy case in New York were converts to Islam.
How is the public served by this kind of silence? The extremist Christian beliefs of George Tiller’s alleged murderer are certainly relevant to that case, and no one in my profession is hesitant to discuss them. Why the hesitancy to talk about the motivations of the man who allegedly killed Pvt. William Long?”

The truth is that the “climate of hate” doesn’t have just one hemisphere. But you won’t hear the Council on American Islamic Relations acknowledging the national security risks of jihadi infiltrators who despise our military and have plotted against our troops from within the ranks – including convicted fragging killer Hasan Akbar and terror plotters Ali Mohamed, Jeffrey Battle, and Semi Osman.

You won’t hear about the escalating war on military recruitment centers on the op-ed pages of the New York Times – from vandalism to obstruction to Molotov tail attacks on campus stations across the country; to the shutdown of a Pittsburgh military recruitment office by zealots holding signs that read “Recruiters are Child Predators;” to the prolonged harassment campaign against the Marine recruiting center in Berkeley, where Code Pink protesters called America soldiers assassins; to the bomb blast at the Times Square recruiting center last March.

And you’ll certainly hear little about the most recent left-wing calls to violence by a Playboy magazine writer who published a vulgar list of conservative female writers and commentators he said he’d like to rape (the obscene slang word he used is not printable). The list was hyped by the magazine’s publicity team and light-heartedly promoted by mainstream publications such as Politico.com (founded by Washington Post reporters).
Is it too much to ask the media cartographers in charge of mapping the “climate of hate” to do their jobs with both eyes open?

As far as your posted article DarrinS, I'm pretty sure Tiller was more famous than the two recruiters. Do you really expect Obama to apologize for EVERY horrible murder? lol

I love how they brought up the HF article too. Way to try to hit every topic! Freedom of speech, right?

The whole point is that the Right wing was pointed at because they've often said that Tiller was a baby killer, and when someone murdered him, it looked somewhat bad.

If left-wing commentators were calling military recruiters evil, or that they were helping to send Americans off to their death, and THEN they were killed, the same would have happened to the left.

sounds like the plot in a book I read a while back:

    Enemies Foreign & Domestic

The gov't staged a mass shooting in a sports arena, and then in the resulting public outrage, pushed forward their anti-gun agena and banned all guns period.

yeah, yeah... but it was actually a great book.

Now I won't buy into Galileo's conspiracy theory, but it wouldn't be the first time the wrong man was detained. I find it ironic that so far, what I read, he hasn't yet been charged. As far as I can tell, there is no evidence he did it. So what, he had a bomb making manual and gunpowder. There are several Army people out there who will never give up the Improvised Explosive Manual, which the Army stopped printing years ago. Could it be that?

Don't get me wrong, I know the guy is likely guilty. I just wish there was more to go on.

    Finally?

There was a news account that said he was charged, then it was retracted. Are you sure? maybe I'm a day late, but I do know that happened.

Galileo may be on to something here, no matter how minute.....but the D.O.J. is on the case...

WASHINGTON — The Justice Department on Friday launched an investigation into the killing of Kansas abortion provider George Tiller to see whether the accused gunman had accomplices.

The department will investigate possible federal crimes in connection with Dr. Tiller's slaying at his church last Sunday in Wichita.

"The Department of Justice will work tirelessly to determine the full involvement of any and all actors in this horrible crime," said Loretta King, head of the department's civil rights division.

Anyone who played a role in the killing, she said, will be prosecuted "to the full extent of federal law."

Didn't you get the memo? Tiller's murder was carried out by Fox News and masterminded by Bill O'Reilly.

I saw Bill Mahr last night and this dude (not Mahr) was blaming a bunch of people for the murderers actions especially the "no spin man" from FOX. That's pathetic.

I have flip flop alot over the years and will continue too. I think I read where the doctor committed 60,000 abortions in his career, I could be wrong about that stat. that is crazy!!!! 60,000. Don't tell me all those abortions were done because the baby was deathly ill in the womb or to protect the mother for what ever health reasons. The people I don't understand are the ones who get an abortion over 18 that just don't want a kid. The doctors who help these people out deserve to be locked up. That to me is murder.

Here is where I am a HUGE hypocrite on this subject. A women who is raped decides to abort or a 15 year old decisions to abort because she is too young I think most days is okay. Assuming the kid baby is going to come out healthy, it will still be murder by the standards I have set. I'm glad I am not a girl.

Partial Birth abortion is illegal in most states. Murder is illegal in all states. Both are crimes to me, both are staines on our society. No one wins in this case and taking life is not a justification for the greater good, at least, not in this case.
