Yeah play Alston over Laker killer Nelson. SVG was trying to get Nelson back in game shape as quickly as possible. Keep in mind Nelson was huge in the Magic's win in the regular season dropping 55 points in 2 games.

Alston should be happy and appreciate the fact that he is in the NBA FInals. What was the excuse in some of the playoff games where Alston shot poorly. The fact is that he is very inconsistent and always has been. Perhaps Nelson probably got too many minutes but I think it was good to look at him early if you were planning to use him.All this to do about Alston's game being thrown off is baloney imo. He is a chucker , on sometimes off sometimes.
The flow of the game ect. of course could be changed when Nelson is in but I think the Magic were a pretty good team when he went down.
The hate on Van Gundy I do not understand. I do not particular care for him, but he is extremely frank and open and that is kind of fun.He also has shown the ability to adjust to situations such as going to Lewis on the perimiter when guarded by Ben Wallace and pounding the ball in to Howard when called out on it.
I don't like him personally but I certainly think he is a capable coach.Anything Shaq says has any credibility?
