The found compressor piece is probably about the third of fourth in the stack. The blades would have all been sheared off while it was rotating in the crash.

This has all been discussed and worn out years ago. Myself, and I'm sure others, don't want to look for old information. Watch a jet's destruction sometime into a concrete barrier, and remember the Pentagon is a concrete structure.

Anything at that speed that hit concrete, was possibly atomized. Only the parts that made it through the windows, sheered off from a rear part of the aircraft as the front hit, and missed concrete at those speeds, would survive.

It was one of the landing gear assemblies that penetrated to the outer C Ring. Remember, this is one of the heavier steel parts rather than what is effectively aluminum foil to the concrete. As for parts in the building, the can also go through windows.

Sure it did. FL77 made a round hole in the C-Ring, but not in the D-ring or the E-ring.
