Plastic is for pussies too afraid to carry cash.
jk, i always have couple euros in change for my coffees at work.
I only carry cash when I'm on vacation, and that's to be sure we stick to our vacation budget. Otherwise it's credit card all the way.
Judging by the way you're trying to downplay this, quite a bit.

10-20 on me usually. Sometimes less. I used to use debit 80% of the time and cash 20%. Now I've fallen in love with my credit card's reward system so it's more like 40% credit, 40% debit and 20% cash.
Money is filthy.
Give me a credit card any time it's possible.
For my big purchases I use my Lone Star Card. Thank you to everyone for buying me my Blu ray player.
I hope you guys have cash handy other than a bank. A few thousand hidden away in the yard or under a fish tank. My dead grandfather hid $25,000 in a fake pipe in the basement. We did not know about this until his will was read to us. Pretty smart. Good place to hide cash is in the wood of a door, inside a curtain rod. I personally spilt up the cash in to two places. One inside and one outside. Put some in a jar and bury it.It's not alot of money but just in case the banking systems falls apart I will have some cash to get food and water for a few weeks. Don't put all ur marbles into one basket.
Yes, allowing a wad of mildewed paper to go from the value of a house to the value of a car in order to keep it out of the hands of the international Jewish banking conspiracy is just brilliant.
It's practical not brilliant. I swear someone alway es about the way someone does something. Believe me the guy had cash in banks.
wtf is mookies problem with debit cards?? Yeah, I guess you leave a trail... but I'm not going around and buying bomb parts, so who gives a ...?
Big Brother: hey, Bender bought some Doritos at Valero... why don't we pick him up...
I always keep a folded up C note in my wallet in case of emergency. Other than that probably 30-40 bucks.
Mmm. I'd like to have the guy in the middle folded up in my pocket.
This is such a cultural difference
Thank you guys for telling me that.
To be honest, besides Chinese dollar,i like carrying about 50 US dollar in my wallets, because I can pay US dollars in part of China, Beijing,Shanghai,Hong Kong, Macau(there are 3 kind of currencies in China, Hong Kong dollar, Macau diollar and RMB dollar)
US$ never hurts, plus, every country is received US dollar except for South Korea and Iraq

LOL... and if all the banks go belly-up and the FDIC fails, then all those bills will be worth more as toilet paper or fuel for your fireplace than they would be at any store.
It isn't really a cultural difference. Nouveau riche Westerners act like pretentious jackasses too, and after the entire Cultural Revolution thing the only kind of riche China has is the nouveau kind.
20 dollars, tops.
20-50 tops
if im clubbin or out with friends its either 50-100
Once Visa and Mastercard backed my debit card, that pretty much ended the days when I regularly carried cash. I rarely have more than $40 on me at any given time.
Not more than 50 (euros that is) usually. Its good to keep it on your card and go to a atm when you need more.
Rarely more than $10. Debit card is the way I roll.
Do men really have that at ude that it's all about the clout?

Is your wad making up for your lack in other areas?

Around $100 or so.
Keeping $25,000 in one's home seems a bit much to me, but keeping some emergency money around is a good idea, e.g., if your credit/debit card gets frozen because of fraudulent purchases.
I admit that I keep a few benjamins stashed at home just in case.
