That's called sarcasm. It's hard to see when it's written.

    I also said this:

Just wait until this year, which is what the poll is talking about. Felix is going to be featured more in the passing offense.
I said that because Felix IS going to be featured more in the passing game this year. The Cowboys coaching staff is going to try to get the ball in his hands more. So I threw it out there. Bad joke, bad sarcasm. Look back and see that I posted that Fitz/Boldin would be the best receiving tandem. If you even want to look at the poll, I voted for Fitz/Boldin.

If Dallas was so in talented and loaded they would have made the playoffs.

Not if they lack focus and discipline which they did last season. They had basically the same team in 07 and went 13-3. Last year they started off strong but when adversity hit, their coaching staff lost their nuts and the players had no direction. That needs to change this year but I am not holding my breath, that along with TO gone does not forebode well.

    Tony Romo = NFL T-Mac

Exactly, because of the reasons I listed.

How many playoff games did Peyton Manning win early in his career. Seriously, this guy has only had 2 1/2 seasons as a starter, and he's already accomplished some great things. Playoff wins will come in time.

He's already broken several team records. He's made it to the Pro Bowl in 2 of the 3 seasons he's been a starter. He probably would have made it last year if he didn't suffer that broken pinkie and miss three weeks. Or if he hadn't laid an egg against the Eagles, but then that's on the whole team. There's still more for him to do, but he has the ability to do so. Yes he still has a lot to prove, like have a winning record in December or win a playoff game. However, other QB's have started off not winning a playoff game and then gone on to get that monkey off their back. Romo has the opportunity to do the same thing.

I would say those are things a "good" QB does. Those aren't "great" things.

"Great" things are winning playoffs games and Super Bowls.

Back to the subject at hand, I don't think that Pacman is going to be a Cowboy anytime soon. Maybe, if the Cowboys coaching staff doesn't like what they see in training camp, they will bring him in. As of right now, I don't see the Cowboys making the move. It goes against everything the Cowboys have tried to do this summer.

  16. #41
Cowboys don't need him. They have plenty of db's to throw out there. I would like to see what the rookies they drafted can do, and guys like Ball and Brown are definitely better than Pac.

Dude, I'm not saying Romo is the best qb in the league or anything, but name me a bad qb who has thrown 62 td's in two seasons. Lots of good players and qb's don't win Superbowls, so its not like that is really and insult either. Romo is good, and only someone bent on hating the guy or the team would say otherwise.

No but they win playoff games.

Being able to run up the score and inflate regular season stats doesn't matter. In close games lil Romeo falls apart.

The collapses were not just Romo. These failures have been team failures.

lol your saying that Pittsburg game or Arizona game wasn't Romo's fault?

Did the team fumble the snap again Seattle two years ago?

He'll win a couple eventually. I've talked my fair about Romo for being erratic and being a ty leader, but he does have the tools. To me it's just going to be a waiting game to see when they get the right roster and coaching staff to all click and be on the same page. To me, this is his put up or shut up year.

No but Terry Glenn fumbled away a touchdown in the 4th quarter that would have sealed the game. Just like Crayton dropping a game changing td pass against the Giants that would have probably sealed the game. It's on everyone not just him.

I am saying that not all the Cowboys failures over the last three years are solely his fault.

If the Cowboys as a team had executed better in each of those games, it would not have come down to those individual plays. The fact that they did underlines that the Cowboys have deeper issues than just TO (while he was there) and Romo.
