what happened, happened. i wish it had gone differently, but i cant complain too much either, as UT was a pretty young squad overall, especially on defense, and they had a considerably better season than a lot of people expected them to, and they still won a BSC bowl game.

however, anything less than an NC this year will be a disappointment.

The kicked out of them? 21-24 isn't an ass kicking...and OSU had a young QB..they still almost pulled it out. It just showed how overrated the Big 12 was last year. They all had great offenses, but did anyone ever stop to think maybe it was the lack of D in that league that made them look so good? OU-L, UT-W, but had to have a last second drive, TT-L, Mizzou-barely beat the 4th best Big Ten team in the last seconds, Ok St-losing big against a ty Pac10 team...yeah the Big 10 lost there games too, but no one was crowning them the best conference in the league either. They are no better or worse than the Big 10. SEC is king even though you Big 12 lovers think your conference is.

If it wasn't for Bob Stoops ing things up, Florida wouldn't have stood a chance against OU. OU was BY FAR the more talented team, just have a dumbass for a coach who consistently outsmarts himself in big games.

Sounds like Mack Brown to me...ask Major Applewhite sitting on the bench while Chris Simms throws 5 yd slant passes for INTs against OU. Mack is just as bad, he just got lucky he got Vince Young which won it all despite the ty coaching.

I'm not saying Mack is great or anything, but he has done a better job of having his team well prepared for big games in recent years. 3 BCS games, 3 wins. Each game coming down to a final drive by the Longhorns, all resulting in a calm, cool, controlled drive for the win.

Mack would have had his team better prepared for the game against Florida than Stoops did.

OSU won it with Craig Krenzel...yeah Craig Krenzel b/c Tressel knows how to prepare his teams. UTSA doesn't have a team by the way...not yet, but how would you know you live nowhere near SA.
