    If Jackson would put a semi competent defender on Alston this wouldn't be an issue.

    Shannon Brown deserves more playing time than this, but Phil Jackson is going to win or lose this series with his vets.

    This is the difference between Jackson and Van Gundy. Van Gundy will try anything and do whatever it takes to win. Jackson will only win on his terms.

    If a team wants Kobe to stop that , all they gotta do is put some scrub on Kobe, and when he goes up for the fake, just crack him under the chin with both arms as he comes down. Flagrant 2...so the scrub gets suspended...but it will send a message.

    It's amazing how Howard has been unable to get a dunk off. Credit to the Lakers for it, but it really goes to show how much the dunk is just flash over substance.

    Howard can probably get a dunk off easier than anyone in the league, but when the stone hits the grind, it doesn't do him much good if he's living at the free throw line.

    Reminds me of watching the Bulls suffocate Shaq and the Magic in the 1996 ECF... Phil Jackson knows how to defend against the big man, especially when that guy has no post moves but the dunk.
