I just saw this. Was a very good bit, up until Jimmy Fallon could not hold a straight face during the "time out" for longer than half a ing second. Seriously, what the do you re s out there see in this guy? He has broken character in every SNL skit I have ever seen him in, and singlehandedly tarnished a pretty good Zack Morris comeback bit.

Props to Zack, it's awesome when people make fun of themselves and don't get offended or brush off like this.

I didn't watch this while it was on, as I refuse to give ratings boost to such a piece of no talent ass clown. But I dvr'ed it and it was pretty cool. I kept waiting and waiting for him to bust out the old school SBtB phone....awesome.

And I have doubts about whether or not they will be able to get Dustin Diamond on board with the possible Saved By the Bell reunion, unless they pay him.
Admit it or not, but a good portion of the laughs from SNL come from when the cast members start cracking up in the middle of a sketch.

Second, unless Nielsen Media Research came and attached a whole bunch of to your tv, what you watch has absolutely no bearing toward the ratings.

Third, I agree about Dustin Diamond. Highly doubtful he'll be on board unless the show him the money.

I don't believe this at all. Here me out, the only laughs you here are in the crowd right? But the people in the crowd will practically laugh at ANYTHING that the cast does. Think about it, attending an SNL show is a once in a lifetime thing so anything that they see in person is about 1000X funnier than if they saw it on tv. But I really think that most people got sick of it. It's almost like it wasn't even a sketch comedy show anymore considering there were more skits with Fallon ing up than there were with him actually getting through it.

But you must admit that the "cowbell" sketch wouldn't have gotten near the response it did without Fallon and Sanz breaking character. Same thing with the Carol Burnett show. Burnett, Conway and Korman tried to crack eachother up every show, and that is part of what made it great. " ing up" and cracking up and breaking character are two different things.

I'm not saying Fallon is brilliant. As a comedic talent, he's ok. But he's not the "no talent ass-clown" some people think of him as. If you want to see a no talent ass-clown, see Tracy Morgan.

I wouldn't say that either. As far as the cowbell, IT WOULD HAVE BEEN WAAAAAYYY BETTER!!! Not to mention that skit was earlier on in his career so add about 5 years of that same snickering and it loses its humor. It was also funny when Eddie Murphy ed up in that one skit (I think everyone knows which one I'm talking about but I can't remember the name) but if he had kept doing it, it would've gotten old even for him.

Jimmy Fallon's improv has always been terrible. He's like a clean version of Dane Cook. Dane Cook has like two or three jokes that are really funny because they're so stupid. Jimmy Fallon is just stupid. But that was a cool idea to have Mark Gosselaar in character like that.

You can watch the clip on the show's website

    Signed.

The whole Zach Morris thing was great. I don't think Fallon screwed up the timeout that bad. I can't believe he got a divorce with Kelly Kapowski.. Come on Zach!

No I will not admit it, you are an idiot if you think so. The whole point of us audience laughing when cast members laugh, is when its a once in a blue moon sort of thing. Their supposed to be professionals, elite ones at that, and when the ice breaks eeeevery once in a while, that is pretty funny. But when he does it every skit, if you're one of those morons who found it funny every time, then I can't help but think you are a total high order .

Second, nielsen can determine ratings direct from DVR/box inputs now

Arguing with you is tiring. I give up. You clearly rule at life. And btw, they are called sketches, not skits.
