i agree he is a better coach than tressel or mack is. but he outsmarts himself in big games. why run the ball so much when your PASSING attack is what made you have the most prolific offense in NCAA history? no sense at all. their defense did a solid job on Tebow and the Florida offense. the OU offense had one of the worst game plans I've ever seen though, and looked very poorly prepared.
at least since 04, Mack has done a solid job of having his team prepared for big games, ready to play, making big plays when needed. stoops' teams pretty much hasn't done other than choke in big games since his NC in 2000 or 01 or whenever it was.
