lol whatever I love watching Dallas lose therefore I love Romo apologists.
Yes but you are incapable of being objective. Romo could win MVP of the league, throw 22-23 for 5 TD's and 350yds in the Super Bowl and win and you would point out the one missed through.

Why do you care about the Cowboys so much? If you hate them, which is ridculous to begin with, why focus on them? Why not focus on your team?

If their QB was a legitimate leader there wouldn't be so many team execution problems.

Their large bandwagon fan base in Phoenix is annoying. I also hate teams that get hype they don't deserve, Dallas simply isn't that good/talented and doesn't deserve this much hype.

He might be one but we don't know that he is not. I think he gives that impression because he never looks pissed when bad things happen. If you do that, and you win, you are "cool under pressure". We don't see him behind closed doors with his team. My biggest problem with him is his desicion making. The coaching staff needs to take a good chunk of that blame for the execution.

Bottom line is that while he has done some good things, QB's are measured on big wins especially those in the post season.

That grew there before the Cards arrive but I could see that. I am a fan of the Cowboys and even I dislike the bandwagoners.

While I disagree about the talent, don't blame Dallas for the hype, blame ESPN, etc. They are the ones that follow the Cowboys around like puppy dogs.

Maybe it did with some but I highly doubt the large group of Mexican bandwagon fans that haven't even been in this country for a decade are Cowboy fans simply cause they were in Arizona before the Cardinals were.

Just a theory but the Cowboys are big in South Texas and were the only team for years between Dallas and LA. They market to the hispanic community in the Southwest and that carries across the border.

People have the right to root for who they want to.

I think it might also be due to the fact that in the early 90's they played preseason games in Mexico City.

That helped. I just remember the one in Mexico City. Jones knew he had fans down there so he knew the game would be a sellout and it was. It had like 100,000 people.

    EDIT:

There have been 4 between 94 and 01.

No but they win playoff games.

Being able to run up the score and inflate regular season stats doesn't matter. In close games lil Romeo falls apart.
I've seen close games where he doesn't fall apart. He doesn't fall apart in ALL close games. You can't win every single close game. Like I mentioned earlier, Peyton Manning had his struggles early on in his career. People forget that Romo has only been a starter for 2 1/2 years. Give him time to mature and develop more. I think he'll win a few playoff games before his career is over. A Super Bowl is not out of the question, but it will take some work. Romo is talented, and to think otherwise is being blind by your hatred for the Cowboys. I have no problems saying teams that I hate have talent, which is why I find it funny that the Cowboys haters hate the Cowboys so much that they think they're "not talented."

Maybe it was just one, but the fact that they did it probably helped. If I'm not mistaken, it was right after one of the Super Bowl wins. It was in 1994:

    August 15, 1994

The Dallas Cowboys play the Houston Oilers at Azteca Stadium in Mexico City tonight before what is expected to be the largest crowd ever to see an NFL game. Some 108,000 tickets have been sold for the game.

    Well thanks for that detail.

I find it amusing that you tell someone to be objective. You are one of the biggest blind homers on these forums.
Manufan is the biggest cowboy homer to grace these boards in a while.

Yup. I go around spewing off about how great the Cowboys in every single thread. I've said the Cowboys have the greatest talent in the NFL. The Cowboys are going to win back to back to back Super Bowls. Give me a break. I'm a Cowboys fan, but I'm still objective. I know that the Cowboys still have a lot to prove, and right now aren't the best team in football, that honor goes to the Steelers. They're the champions.

This is why owners need to just be owners and hire football people to make football decisions. It's cool to own a team and be involved with your players and personnel... I'd be wary of an owner who wasn't. But there's a line between owner and coach and Jerry Jones has been about five hundred miles past that line since he's owned the Cowboys.

Cowboys should bring the guy back. They need him. Will not hurt one single bit. If he sucks he is gone. It did not hurt last year when he was not there. They did not count on him so when they lost him all was fine. Do it again I say.
