Lakers are a missed layup from being down 2-1.

They struggled on their homecourt against a team with very little playoff experience.

Magic are over their "First Big Show Jitters" and are now playing ball.

Lee is bothering Kobe so much on defense that he can't even hit free throws anymore.

If Lakers don't win the Finals this year, Kobe will throw another temper tantrum and want to go to another team again

If the Lakers lose, the fans will have to eat all the they have talked all year long.

Lakers lost one game by 4 points even though the Magic shot an ungodly percentage they'll never shot again in a game they absolutely had to win. Still two more games in Orlando to get one win, shouldn't be that much trouble.

I didn't even mention the jinx of the pre-planned victory parade in LA. I thought everyone learned their lesson when Dallas did that.

Even though LA could be down 1-2,it's also true they we could be up 3-0.

    1- we still have HCA
2- Magic played almost the perfect game: had 5 players scoring 18 or more, shot 63% FG, 77% FTs, and only won by 4
3- we all know Alston is everything but consistent, so I don't expect many more 20 point games from him
4- don't bank on Kobe missing FT as he did in game 3
5- don't forget Stern is a Laker fan

the pressure is still on the Magic!

Yeah, I don't like this, and people making threads already pronouncing the Lakers the champs, not smart.

A team should never be worried if they're up in a series.

Yeah, Dallas wasn't worried when they were up 2-1 in 2006. Funny how that worked out huh?

I was more worried when we were 1-1 going into DEN for Game 3. DEN looked like the better team in that series all the way up until Game 5.

lol, you're so desperate for another team to repeat the epic fail your team did. IDK, it's not impossible but Kobe ain't Dirk, PJ ain't AJ and the Lakers aren't the Mavs. Also the other team doesn't have a phantom whistle king and one of the best big men to ever play the game.

    LMAO...

No disrespect to Orlando, but theyre not a finals-worthy team. Give Howard at least two to three years before he can lead a team to a le. He's just still way too young.

Plus they playing without a decent pg or sg.

Odom and Gasol will make enough big plays to carry the Lakers.

We have pre-planned plenty of those, and have even guaranteed back to backs. The difference between Dallas and the Lakers is we've come through time and time again.
    You play for the Lakers?

What about when Kobe quit against the Suns? I thought that series was in the bag!!!

Or last year against my Celts?

Or against the Pistons in 04?

    Who gives a ?

That series should never be referenced for anything in the future regarding a team's ability to come back.

The Heat didn't even really come back, they just got a slew of one sided officiating in their favor.

So no, the Lakers shouldn't be worried barring Wadegate version 2.0

well if people make the Dallas reference it would probably take Hedo getting 90 FT for the next couple of games for it to happen. if it does then we are screwed but i dont see that in the future

Everytime I think the Lakers have the most pathetic fan base in the history of sports, Maverick fan comes and says something that makes me question everything.

Like the refs made Josh Howard call that timeout.

Lakers shouldn't be worried, they still hold the series lead. If they start to get a bit laxed as they have shown they have the capability of becoming then I'd be worried as a fan. The series has evened in intensity since Game 1 and gotten better with regard to execution with each game so neither team is really scared of the other at this point IMO.

I wouldn't be the least bit worried if I were a Laker fan. Kobe had a bad game in the 4th last night and they still were right there in the end. But I never realized until this series how bad Howard sucks ass anytime he puts the ball on the floor.

The Magic set an NBA Finals record for shooting percentage for a game and only won by 4.

    That says it all.
