I've only got the free insurance that I get with my bank account but I think that is only accidental life insurance.

Yeah, she had been in ill for over 2 years so he is in up to his neck in bills. She had already maxed out her medical insurance limit. Before she became ill she was in good health as far as I know. I just figured she had some type of life insurance.
That is another reason I think getting a good term policy while at an early age can be crucial since you could lock it up before any pre-exisiting conditions exist. If that makes any sense.

I hadn't thought about having life insurance to help your family pay the medical bills. That would a very good reason to have life insurance. Dying is very profitable for the medical industry.
