You're more than welcome to criticize Obama.
However, threads like, "OMG HE BOWED" or "ZOMG AN IPOD" make me violently ill with the stupidity being spewed. It does not exactly paint a picture of a group of people who are actually interested in talking politics.
I mean, an iPod thread goes 8+ pages? How does someone expect to be taken seriously in political discourse when many (not all, some of the rights are pretty awesome here) want to use an iPod as an excuse to bash Obama?
Please, by all means, let's have some serious discussions in here. I'd welcome it. But every time a thread like that is created, it makes me that much less willing to have an actual dialogue with ANYONE in this forum (not just those I disagree with).
I'm a moderate. The only reason I'm leaning left (ONLY in this forum, I should stress) is that the people claiming to be part of the right make comments that have no basis in logic or reality with frightening regularity. Yes, there is hypocrisy from both sides, but man.... I shake my head at the things some of the regular right-wing posters say.
On another forum, I might be split down the middle or even leaning to the right. There is very little chance here for that, from what I've seen.

Well, you'll know that the has really hit the fan if Keith Olbermann wipes the excess Obama juice from his chin and starts to criticize Obama.

Not exactly. It just appears that I lean left on this forum because I get fed up with a lot of the posters from the right side. On a forum with a lot of idiotic left-wing members, I might appear to lean more to the right because I'd be calling them out for their . Got it?

True. Most media today are just more-acceptable/respected tabloid. Every once in a while a paper will come out with actual news, but a lot of it is BS.
