    Boston DH David Ortiz, hitting .187 with one homer, had the day off. Ortiz told reporters before the game that he is considering having his eyes examined. ..Good move Papi

    I didn't mind the Red Sox back when the Yankees were the lone Evil Empire and the Red Sox were kinda the leaders of the Rebel Alliance of teams trying to take down New York. I'd never been happier than when they came back from being down 0-3 to beat the Yanks.

    But these days the Red Sox are out-Yankeeing the Yankees at everything, and I hate the Red Sox almost as much as the Yankees now.

    The Yankees have way more spending power than Boston and have shown it with fat ass Sabathia and Mark Texiera. They don't just sign the most talented player possible at each position like NY does, they find players that fit into their lineup and have an iden y. NY doesn't really have an iden y, they just have a bunch of talented hitters.
