    ----

I would like to know if these trade rumors are true? Are you going to the Mavericks?

Anderson Varejão: I've had two conversations with Mark Cuban this month and he offered me a three year contract deal worth U$11 million (or R$19 million in brazilian money), but I told him that I would like to stay in Cleveland, unless they do not decide to renew my contract in which case I could analyse Dallas deal.
    ----

Obviously, this should be taken with a grain of salt. Cuban knows better (we hope) than to be messing with players before the July 1 date. 3 yrs/11 would be dipping into the MLE.

    Your mom.

I would officially make an official announcement regarding my officially being an official fan of the Oklahoma City Thunder if the first thing on Mark Cuban's agenda this offseason is to get Anderson ing Varejao.

I have the patent on becoming a Thunder fan if my team's front office does something extremely dumb (sign Nash to an extension). I even have the troll Thundaluva.

I love when people talk about all the "energy" a certain player brings as if no other player on the court uses any energy at all.

Moves like this really make me scratch my head.

Every championship type team has a player like Varejao. (Malik Rose, Fox, Bowen) that are integral parts to their success by doing the dirty work but are vastly overrated when they're free agents and sign big money with other teams and do nothing.

If donnie bites i will be pissed

Brandon Bass is sooooo much better at that role than Anderson Varesuck.

Yeah, Varajeo is fine if he's your fifth of sixth-best player. And he should be paid like it as well. A decent post player, but that's about it. What's he going to do for us that he didn't do for Cleveland?

The thunder are one of the most popular team among fans. New franchise and they have gotten off to a terrific start. Drafting an all time player like Kevin Durant and making great moves unlike the bobcats, etc...

    They are an awesome team.

As your 7th or 8th man, Varejao has a role and does it well. He gets in peoples' skin, draws fouls, and he's a pretty good defender against PFs of the finesse, outside-shooting variety (Dirk, KG.)

You don't want him as your starter, though.

Varejao would eat up our MLE which should be used on Felton or some other FA that can make significant changes to us, Varejao would be a good guy off the bench but he really isn't worth a full MLE. I wish Cuban can pursuade him to accept a LLE like what Birdman earned from Nuggets this season.

Could Varejao be so dumb not to know the rules and open his mouth like that? I mean if this is a genuine interview then I guess there should be some sort of investigation.

If this is true then Cuban is commiting a violation because free agency hasn't started yet, you can't talk to players
