so suprised
That's pretty cool. I think every kid who lived through that era planned on what they'd do if they won that.
That's the sentence of the day. What did you want him to do? When he registered be like, "hi I'm Cry Havoc you may remember me from my appearance on Nickelodeon in 1993" ... and have the YouTube video in his sig. WTF![]()
so suprised
lol, pretty much. Just seems like he could have done it earlier.

Nickelodeon came way past my youth but I did get to watch the Bozo the Clown show back in the late 60's. I didn't win anything though.
The game with the ping pong balls and the buckets.

You got it!! I even used that game at my girl's early BD parties. It was a hit!!
Every kid received a parting gift.
Most of the kids ended up with that 5 lb of Hershey's chocolate bar as a prize.![]()
Thats awesome, I remember the toy runs.
I cant raise the volume here at work, but how old were you in that video? Im sure they say it on the broadcast...
Anyway, pretty friggin sweet. I remember LA Lights, too bad we couldnt afford them. I was full of myself when I was like 5 or 6 years old when I got a pair of those Kangaroo shoes (iirc, that is....they had the coin pouch or whatever). Too bad they were out of style by then.
Ahhh, lower middle class, the days of "skitchin" during the winter, wall walking, trash pickin, parachuting and street crashing.
From the first time you said this:
From the freaking video, since I advised you once to read the description already:If you'd actually bothered to read the video description, this is a video that I had converted to DVD format about a year ago -- however when I put it on my computer it did not play well. Fast forward to today, for whatever reason I was sorting some old junk on my other hard drive on backup, and came across the file. Double-clicked it and it played perfectly. Even uploaded to youtube without a hitch or need of a file conversion.
The video was uploaded to YouTube yesterday. How much more clearly would you like me to spell it out for you? This is a very personal video for me... it's the commercial -I- made for Nickelodeon in 1993! I actually found this on an old hard drive, as I thought it was junk because my old media player wouldn't play it very well.
Sorry to hear that DR. =\ We were pretty poor when I was really young too, but my dad got hurt on the railroad and got a large settlement out of it which changed a lot. Before that though, it was rough.
Holy cow. I remember those and remember how much I wanted to win one. And timvp is right - my brother and I had the strategy all laid out if either of us won. Very cool.
I bet it was rough coming back.
Kids always picked out the crappy toys. I always knew I could do it better if I won.
I remember that show. It is awesome that you were on it.![]()
Well, in my 'youth' I watched that friggin Captain show here in SA and was green-eyed over not being the damned audience! How did those kids get so lucky, I always thought!
What the was the name of that guy/show, anyway?

lucky son of a
