Hey if you are headedto Canada, go to Montreal
NZ is nice, you will like it.

Does anyone know of any good not too expensive vacation destinations? I've been looking a lot at Vancouver and Toronto as possible picks. I also have Auckland, New Zealand on my list. I want to go somewhere out of the country that's why I picked places like Canada and New Zealand and I'm not planning to take this trip until next year. I figure that it's probably a good idea to start planning now than wait until the last minute. Any ideas? I did go on a vacation this year and it was good. I went to Orlando and Kissimmee, Florida in March. It was a really nice fun place. I regret not seeing the Magic play when I was there.

To bang the hot Cubans and Puerto Ricans? Or to get rained on constantly and eaten to death by mosquitos? Give me the Pacific any day over the Atlantic.
Cocoa beach was nice. I wouldn't mind going to Montreal. I just think that the language difference might hinder my time there.
I'm used to mosquitos, but the rain![]()
I went to Puerto Vallarta not long ago - stayed at a great all-inclusive resort. Whole thing was $1100 for flight, hotel, cab, etc... for wife and I, 4 nights. Not too bad.
It actually does not rain that much in FL. There is a rainy season but it is not like Seattle/London/Paris. For the mosquitos, yes, true during the summer.
As far as the question of the OP, Vancouver is pretty neat.
Central Oregon
I've always wanted to go to Crater Lake.
