yes...there will be...Seattle kept the team colors and the name Sonics for a reason. If Seattle can show they will support a team like they didn't before, and build a new arena, they'll get one.
Seattle is my hometown!

I hope so. I went to the Gorge Ampitheatre in Quincy, Wa(The #1 ampitheatre in the world) and was fortunate enough to visit seattle. Beautiful city and great people. They deserve a team.
dam i hope they do
interesting that they kept the Logo aswell as the Name.... No doubt they want a NBA team again...
What other Citys are looking for a NBA team?

Why dont one of LA teams move to Seattle?
One major problem is that David Stern hates the Seattle fans because they did not support that team. It's going to be to get another team there, but their market is big enough where they can't stay out forever.
Major cities w/out an NBA team:
Seattle(24)
Las Vegas(29)
Tampa(54)
Jacksonville(12)
San Jose(10)
Vancuouver
Kansas City(35)
Baltimore(20)
Pittsburgh(60)
St.Louis(52)
San Diego(8)
San Fransisco(13) but next door to oakland
Austin(16)
Fort Worth(17) but next door to dallas
El paso(22)
Nashville(25) Tenn. definately doesnt deserve 2 teams
Louisville(29)
# in () symbolizes national rank in population
Id give franchises to seattle, vegas, and san jose in that order respectively
Unfortunately, I don't see Austin getting one. Too many Spurs fans around South Texas. It's the same as San Antonio getting a football team. It could work, but with so many Cowboys fans around here, would the population be supportive enough?
He's saying Seattle's arena sucks, and LA's doesn't.
well having 2 teams in LA is pointless. but its LA
lebron will be the first player on the new sonics
yeah..that's what I'm saying..Spurs are too close...too many fans.
Thats the same case for many populated areas w/out a team. There are 6 texas cities in the top 22, but I don't see them getting another one, pretty much the same thing with california. Austin is w/in 2 1/2- 3 hours of 3 teams.
I can tell you're from the area...
After Stern ass raped Seattle I doubt they're in any hurry for the NBA to return.
tell that to these people

I know people in Seattle..they want their team back bad...of course, they should have supported them while they were there, but it's one of those "don't know what you got till it's gone" things.
hey tell me okc or seattle? im seattle for sure
huh? What do you mean?
which city u think is better?
.
Seattle is great. I lived about 30 miles south of it for years. The gray weather can get old, but it's a fun city. Pretty too, lots of green.
