    It's a long road to the NBA, and Cunningham is experiencing that now. He has worked out for the Miami Heat and San Antonio Spurs. He's taking part in the 2-day NBA draft combine.

    I agree hes alot like Gist but he does have a consistent midrange jumper, if other prospects are gone like green i think we should take a chance on him.

    Cunningham is nowhere near the overall athlete and leaper that Gist is, but his intangibles are undeniable. He wouldn't be a bad choice with our last 2nd rounder.

    I would say this guy has a lot of David West in him. Gist is a better athlete and perhaps has a higher ceiling, but Cunningham is the vastly superior defender at this juncture.

    I would say this guy has a lot of David West in him.
    I'm a Villanova fan and can assure you that there is absolutely no David West in Dante Cunningham. West is a legitimate low-post thumper with an all-around game. Cunningham is a thin 'tweener who plays a finesse game with borderline NBA potential.
