The Phoenix Suns and Golden State Warriors have discussed a possible trade.
League executives indicate that Phoenix could send Amare Stoudemire to the Warriors for a package that would include Andris Biedrins and the No. 7 pick in the draft.
What on earth are the Suns doing?![]()
The Rockets offer is better. Beidrins and an unknown vs
Landry/Brooks and T-Mac and his 23 million dollar expiring.
Update on that story.

League executives say the Phoenix Suns and Golden State Warriors have discussed a possible trade that is centered around sending Amare Stoudemire to the Warriors for a package that would include Andris Biedrins and the No. 7 pick in the draft. But Warriors coach Don Nelson is telling friends that there’s nothing seriously brewing there.
damn, Phoenix is in fire sale mode it seems
Maybe Kerr really is still working for the Spurs and is just applying the final nail to the coffin![]()
What would you do if I were to give your Kerr's home address?
Oh man...We can give them Finley and Bonner + all of our draft picks for him. I gues Kerr would like that.![]()
and so ends the Rivalry between the Phoenix Suns and the San Antonio Spurs
Maybe when he's done, he'll go screw up another team.![]()
Doesn't the other team occasionally have to win in order for it to be a rivalry?
It really wasn't a rivalry, to be honest.
Not a rivalry if 1 team is always beating the other.
Damn, Jackson/Randolph/Stoudemire would be a of a running front-line. They wouldn't win any les or anything, but that team would be ing fun to watch.
Yep, and that's why the nail is officially in the coffin. Any chance of a rivalry is now completely dead.
Whatever rivalry there was between the Spurs and the Suns has now set. Good bye Phoenix, Kerr and Sarver have done you in.
Considering it does look like Kerr is blowing up the team, that's not a bad deal for the Suns. Biedrins and the #7 pick. Plus, they have the #14 pick as well. They can pick up some nice young pieces to rebuild with. It would almost necessitate trading Nash too though.
RC + Pop should ring Kerr and ask what it would take, then this board can really get into collusion talks.![]()
So RedSox/Yankees wasn't a rivalry until 2004?
saying the Suns and Spurs have a rivalry is like saying the hammer and the nail have a rivalry.
To Yankee fans.
But that's a whooole different rivalry only because of the history between the two.
Seriously...they should. At this point the Suns clearly want to rebuild and get rid of big contracts.
So Lakers/Kings was never a rivalry?
I think Kerr figured, "If I can't beat the Spurs I can at least out Scola-trade them."
