Trade Blair for Speedy Claxton and go get Sheed...?
    uhhh why exactly?

Speedy Claxton's played like 14 games in the last 2-3 years.

The Spurs need frontcourt help WAY more than they need a backup PG.

I thought Wash. would trade that pick, I just thought it might be to the Spurs after some of the information I found.

Please say Charlotte just drafted for S.A... C'mon L.B.!

If budenger can fall a littel farther....would be a great scorer for the 2nd team
He won't fall to 51. If the Spurs really want him then we can trade up to get him.

That is BS. The Spurs will give him an opportunity to make the team.

He was listed at 6'6" his entire career. I've heard the 6'4" thing a bunch, but he and Jordan were the same height. I saw them playing alongside each other enough times to know that.

Do any of you feel that Blair has potential to be a Charles Barkley type of player? Skill wise anyway?

first time since timmy, that we drafted somene the fans wanted/expected

    BOOOORRRIIINNNGGGG!!!!
A lot of us wanted Parker in 01 (though Jefferson was my first choice). It was pretty well known the Spurs were extremely excited about Parker and tried to trade up about 15 spots to get him.

I've heard Jordan was closer to 6'4 though.

Will Brown help Pop with a deal?

The dude is 277 pounds, that's absolutely beastly. But does his 7'2" wingspan really allow him to play taller?

No. At best he's closer to a Barkley sized Kevin Willis. Barkley was a GREAT scorer.

No one is worried about a guy who's 6'7" and 277 lbs not named Lebron? Doesn't sound any alarms? Not to mention that the Lakers are the target, and Gasol, Bynum and Odom (if he stays) are all 6'10" and up with long arms to boot.

You can't teach size, and I don't think this helps the Spurs defend the Lakers frontcourt. Not fond of the pick.
go look at game tape moron. you obviously don't watch college basketball. remember charles barkley? take your, "can't teach size", cliches and stick em' where the sun doesn't shine
