McClinton will end in the D league.. Don't have any thing against his offensive skills but Spurs thrives on D and boy don't have it. He is better off to play on a phoenix sun run and gun offense
yeah..I know...he's gonna work his tail off in the league...as a Horns fan, I respect the out of his work ethic.

DX knows their .
Blair, Nivins, De Colo would have been an absolutely sweet draft.
But hey, at least we now have a 3rd PG who can actually score
if he makes the roster, then he better stay... no stashing!
Oh, he'll probably play in Austin this year as a Spurs roster player, but that kind of scoring efficiency in a guard won't be kept out of the NBA.
Couldn't have asked for more out of this draft. I would have been happy to have seen the Spurs trade up to 23 to pick Blair. To get him at 37 is gold.
McClinton is a straight up shooter. This team can always use shooters.
De Colo is a very good talent for 53.
Great couple days for Spurs fans.
I know Blair was supposed to go higher, maybe in the first round, but then why didn't he? You don't see many 6'6" power forwards in the NBA, especially those with 2 ACL operations.
People talk about wingspan as though it made up for lack of size. How many times do you see a 6'10 or 6'11 guy shoot over a shorter player before you realize it isn't how high you can reach but how high you can jump and reach.
Oh well, I hope he makes a good bench player. Most second round guys don't work out at all.
Yep, I was really hoping the Spurs would go PG with the 51 and grab Chin with the 53.
But they already have one project big in Ian, guess that was enough for them...
At what pick? He didn't get drafted. Utah took Maynor and Sutton...
Van Gundy says SA is his winner of the draft.
JVG giving SA some love...biggest winner in the draft.
You can only play 12 at a time...
Spurs don't have 1 first round pick and they are the winners of the draft
I doubt that, I think Sacramento had a good draft.
Van Gundy says spurs had best draft wow....lol
Why not develop him with heavy minutes at Austin? It's likely he won't get enough minutes this year if he stays in SA to learn enough. He needs to learn the system by immersion, and there's no better place for that than Austin.
Question. What does this draft mean for George Hill?
i am out. ill be waiting for what our FO move on July 1st.. I was static on what RC said on the interview promising it will be exciting but i only got excited i one of our 3 picks. "Blair"
No meanings. He'll stay and be a good backup guard.
Bringing in McClinton probably gives the Spurs the green-light to fully put Mason on the block.
JVG thought that the Spurs had the most successful draft day.
Not bad at all for a 37th freakin' pick.
you.

Nothing. He'll still be a backup. Probably means that Vaughn is out now.
