It's called MONEY!
The other kid he paid off was going to testify as well. He didn't want to be the only one and was only going to testify if the accuser testified.
It's called MONEY!
Instead of trying to clear his name he skipped to Bahrain where he could diddle all the little boys he wanted.
MJ is still the King of Pop.He is putting on one of a show.
Great ing video. Thanks for sharing.
Michael at the time had a team of high powered lawyers who advised him to settle because they knew his ass was grass in a court of law. Period. You can say he cleared his name all you want but he didn't in the eyes of millions and millions of people and fans. His bribe was not an admission of guilt but it sure the did not make him look innocent. Period.
But they could have sent him to prison and sued him for damages.
In fact, in would have been pretty easy to do just that.
I see nothing to prove that greed wasn't the total motivation behind those accusations.
And the reason there is plenty of reason to doubt lies 100% at the feet of the accusers.
I mean that's the obvious thing in all of this...
That's why there was no conviction.
That's why there is plenty of reason left to doubt.
He had hte money to diddle all the boys he wanted right here in the states.
I mean if he really wanted to molest children he had the money to do it and never be caught doing it.
+1 I have serious doubts myself.
So if money is reason is enough to let your childs molester go free...
Why isn't it reason enough to lie about the molestation in the first place?
It's worse to take the money if your child actually was molested than it is to lie about it.
Whott quit drinking the ing Jesus Juice. You just can't stomach that your Idol was a pedophile. Period. 2+2=4 not 3. Why do you think his lawyers told him to settle? Just to make this go away or because they thought he would be going to Prison. You do the math.
Lol. The family didn't say if you give us money we won't testify, Michael said I'll give you money if you don't testify. Guilty. This guy was a freak. Daddy allegedly molested him when he was a young boy. The apple does not fall far from the tree.
ok. theorizing, or whining for some people **cough** person **ending the cough**, about jacko's death. i think he went out a la anna nicole. either intentional or unintentional. right now i'm leaning towards intentional. it just played out a little too similar to anna nicole.
And I'm sorry but body iding isn't conclusive.
When I was in daycare we used to go swimming at the public pool and the boys would all change in the lockerroom together and so would the guy in charge of us.
I never thought anything about it in my entire life until just now in this discussion.
It's funny to think that guy could be accused of being a pedophile.
I've suggested my clients settle on many occasions and not always due to guilt. Some of your view points are preposterous, scandalous, outrageous!!
i HIGHLY doubt that he's Whottt's idol.
and 20 million in hopes of this going away amounted close to nothing at the time.
I'm not sure what part of identifying key points on his private parts followed by huge settlement leaves doubts. It wasn't until they started exploring his junk did wallets started opening. As far as most people with common sense are concerned there is little doubt as to whether or not he was guilty of something. There will always be questions as to how far it went but little to no doubt that something inappropriate took place...not just once and not just with one person but many times and with many kids.
There's a sizable difference between the locker room at a public pool and under the sheets of his magical bed at Neverland.
#1. He's not my idol. I think he's a freak. My appreciation for Michael Jackson's music ends at Off the Wall and probably before that.
#2. The reason questions remain is due to the failure of the accusers.
I don't care what you say, they aren't conducing themselves like people whose children were actually molested.
And if their kids actually were molested, those parents should lose custody of their children.
#1. For letting their minor children stay with a grown man where they couldn't superivse them.
#2. For being bought off.
And I'm sorry, but they could have convicted him AND sued for damages. In fact, it would have been an ironclad case once they got the conviction and they could have conceivably named their price.
I watched that Interview he did last night on ABC, and upon watching it again it became clear that Jackson was weird as , but I got the feeling that he didn't molest that kid. The kid that ended up accusing him of molestation was interviewed during the famous part of the interview where he spoke about letting him sleep in his bed. As creepy as it sounded, it was made clear by both that Michael didn't sleep with him. It still sounded very creepy and I'm sure the boy's parents noticed and now saw a huge payday. That's all they wanted. They didn't want to win a case vs. him because they knew it was bull . They had him guilty in the public eye with this interview and that was enough to get them a payday. I think Mike was a weird dude, but I'm not going to assume he was a pedophile
Not to mention MJ had a fondness for having little boys sleep in bed with him, not girls. It's no secret this cat was coo coo for cocoa puffs. There has been long lasting allegations that Michael was molested when he was a kid by his father.
Your defense of Michael is ultra slim. It does not matter that Michael had boatloads of money at the time, it has nothing to do with the fact that he quickly made the offer after they knew exactly what kind of incriminating evidence/testimony they had against him. His lawyers knew his ass was gonna get thrown in prison for a long time if they didn't pay to make this go away.
The kid also testified about looking at porno mags with Michael which they found in his home during the investigation. How much more of this kids story do you need to add up to see Michael was guilty?
And thanks to the parents whoring their children out, we'll never know for sure.
I hope you finde defenders of justice understand that the first rule of it, at least as it pertains to American justice, is innocent until proven guilty.
There is nothing ironclad about the accusations against Jackson, they are all cir stantial, and the only questionable ethics in this entire thing are on the side of the accusers.
We know they were in it for the money...beyond all doubt, it was the most important thing to them, and their actions bear this out.
So rather than railing against me...why don't you go after the parents that d their children out to a pedophile?
This thread is like beating a dead horse
Not necessarily. It would have come down to a jury deciding how much and as ed up as that family was the jury would not have been particularly sympathetic. Taking the 25 million not to testify was the safe play.
MJ also paid off another family regarding some allegations.
Jason Francia (born May 30, 1980) is the son of Jackson's former maid Blanca Francia, who moved from El Salvador to the US in 1975. She worked for Jackson in the period 1986–1991 at the Jackson family home in Encino, Los Angeles, at Jackson's Century City, Los Angeles apartment called "The Hideout," and at Neverland. She often brought Jason along to her work. Jason was a friend of Jackson in the period 1987–1991, when he was 7–10 years old. Jason claimed Jackson touched his crotch twice over his shorts, and once touched his testicles from under his shorts, on each of these three occasions for a few minutes during a tickling game. On the first two occasions he received $100 each for not telling his mother. In 1996 Jackson paid the family $2,000,000 to settle the case. Blanca Francia also received $20,000 for a TV interview, which Jason claimed to have no knowledge of the amount. She testified too, in spite of the settlement. She did not see sexual activity, just an occasion where Jackson and Jason were lying together partly on, partly in a sleeping bag
