they have good young talent no need for amar'e
John Hollinger via Twitter: johnhollinger: Chad Ford just chimed in to pour a bathtub full of cold water on the Amare to Golden State rumors. Most likely, Curry stays in the Bay.

I bet Amare is moved this offseason. Maybe not to the GSW, but somewhere.
The deal isn't dead, they've just got to wait out Biedrins BYC period.
How about Nashy and Jrich for TMac's expiring/Landry and Lowry?
Amare will be somewhere other than Phoenix..Rockets?
this deal is dead, azcentral just reported that it's alive and cant be completed till wednesday
Who is Amare Stoudamire?
Is he a combination of Amare Stoudemire and Damon Stoudamire?
While I like Biedrins, without the Suns nabbing Randolph in the deal, I couldn't care less. Wright is talented, but years away, if ever, fulfilling his talent and is unlikely to ever do so in a Suns uni, and Bellineli is Euro-Re at this point.
Curry would have been nice, if only because the Suns could possibly trade him to NY for Hill.
A combination of Biedrins, Randolph and Curry (then swap for Hill) would be amazing, but I doubt the Warriors would even consider trading all three for potentially just one year of Amare.
Breaking: This trade was just featured on ESPN as, "A deal that's close to being complete."
JMJ, Golden State isn't going to trade anything unless Amare agrees to an extension. I personally think that if Golden State wants to keep Curry, Kerr should say, fine, keep Curry Wright and Bellineli, just make a simple Biedrins, Claxton and Randolph package. I'd trade Amare straight up Anthony Randolph at this point.
I would to. Randolph was my sleeper of last year's draft and I was devestated when Golden State picked him one slot ahead of where Phoenix was selecting. I was thrilled when his name was mentioned in the first wave of Amare trade rumors and again devestated when things fell through.
The Suns would have to wait two months to receive the package you mentioned, however, as Claxton can't be involved in a multi-player package for 60 days, I think.
It would be worth the wait.
I future with a frontcourt of Biedrins, Randolph and Clark puts a smile on my face the Joker's father would be proud of.
I only said Claxton to make the salaries work. If the trade works with just those two involved fine by me. Clark, Randolph and Biedrins might not be the best front court right now, but with the right coach who is patient with Randolph and Clark who gives them isolation plays to develop an ability to create their own shot, rather than a coach that tells them to pass the ball to Nash every play and never try and develop their game, it could be a dominant front court. Certainly tons of length and athleticism.
Don Nelson is a perfect fir for Amare. Nelson is the godfather of not playing defense and never making it to the NBA Finals. If he thought he had fun with D'Antoni wait until he played for Nelson. That would be like getting guitar lessons from a guy in a Hendrix tribute band, then getting lessons from Jimi himself a year later
That's one of the most awesome and accurate analogies ever.
Biedrins, Randolph, Azukuike works for Amare.
This allows the Warriors to keep Wright and Curry.
PG: Curry, Law
SG: Ellis, Belinelli
SF: Jackson, Maggette
PF: Wright, Marrow
C: Amare, Turiaf
Let's them keep Claxton's insurance-paid contract as well, for CP relief.
You kind of have to like this trade for both teams. Neither are going to the Finals with what they have now.
Technically, Biedrins, Wright and Randolph work as well, but that's a lot of bigs to give up for just one.
This is my semi-realistic rebuilding scenario. The Suns do that trade. They then trade Barbosa and Lopez for their 2010 pick back. People love Barbosa but he's expendable. Trade Nash to Portland for Przybilla and Travis Outlaw. I'm gonna assume that they're gonna have to keep J- . Fine I guess he'll start again. Don't sign Taylor Griffin.
Biedrins / Przybilla
Randolph / Amundson / Dudley
Clard / Outlaw / Dudley
J-DUI / Outlaw / Tucker
Dragic / veteran backup
Hey the team might suck for the foreseeable future but at least it will have an iden y and we'll know where it's at.
I am Barbosa's biggest fan. I would hate to see him go. I used to work for The Sun of Yuma, Arizona. The city's community college, Arizona Western, had a Brazilian pipeline for the men's basketball team. I stumbled upon video of Barbosa back in 2001/2002 when scouting Rafael Araujo video. I touted him on ESPN's boards for years. I think the world of the kid. But if the Suns can get Randolph, Wright and Biedrins for he and Amare, you gotta do it.
I'm saying if they can get their 2010 pick back next year you gotta do it. Barbosa has a great at ude, work ethic and personality who has worked really hard to get better, but he just does so many stupid things during games and he has choked in so many key playoff games that contributes to the Suns inconsistencies.
I personally like knowing what I can generally expect from a player every night. Barbosa can drop 25-30 points on one night and then go 2-15 the next night.
Kill yourself.
this is a bad deal. just realized its wright not randolph
