but but but Shaq wasnt the reason the Suns fell apart.

He wasn't. The Suns were 4-12 against the top teams in the West at the time of the Shaq trade, they were done before the trade.

When was it ever good? Im just saying...

When the Suns looked like a team that would contend for awhile. I didn't even think they would be so quick to turn into a lottery team after 2007. I expected a decline once Sarver made it clear he wasn't going to improve the roster, I didn't think it would be such a rapid decline.

At least I can say "I made it through the Kerry Collins, Aaron Brooks days" I can even say I was there when the big talk was "Bobby Hoying or Jeff George". Can't really do that with the Lakers since they never stay down for long.

Now the question is, will you or I eventually be saying "I made it through the JaMarcus Russel days"?

Rapid it was. I truly felt the year Amare got suspended, that was their year.

I even did. Which is why after they couldn't win that year, my view was, "If they couldn't win now, they're never going to win with the team they have."

It would have been a stretch to dismantle the team after 2007, but after they lost to the Spurs in the first round a year ago, it should have been an obvious liquidate the team and rebuild situation.

You look at what they could have gotten for Amare last year and what teams are offering for him now, waiting a year to rebuild was a monumental mistake.

    Try Todd Marinovich, yeah...
I was too young for that. With my SC bias, I probably would have never given up on him.

I hope not. Reports are he is doing great now after shaking off the dust.

I made it through the 2.5 years if Starbury .

Other than take getting to watch Marbury take Tony Parker to church several times a year, the Starbury Suns were horrible.

Somehow Al Davis will manage to throw a wrench in the works.

I am pretty sure Shaq will have something to say about that. The Suns just want to play an uptempo game and put up 150 points a game or something and not play any defense. Shaq was brought in to help them beat the Spurs (didn't happen) and deal with the Lakers (who just won the NBA le). It obviously did not work out for them. I think they gave up on that team way to fast, Shaq was really playing well for them. Nash just wants to try and win another MVP award and see if they can make the playoffs. Shaq I guess was in the way of that.

Starbury eyes use to light up when he saw Parker on the floor.

It's funny.....when they had him, they were the crappy team that always gave the Spurs a weird amount of trouble.....since they've gotten Nash, they've been the great team always plays like against the Spurs. It's something I'll never figure out.

My dad. He was in love with him or something. Only thing I get to see are those highlights of him tearing apart The Bozz.

It sucks when the best years of Raider football are losing in the AFC le game(2000, Fat Siragusa), having the worst call I'd ever seen(2001, tuck rule) and getting outcoached(2002, no explenation needed. I remember after 98-99, I thought this team was going to win a couple of Super Bowls. They had gone 8-8 and knocked the Chiefs out of the playoffs in OT.

    +1

I watched that game with a friend (fellow Raiders fan). At the time, I never would have thought it would be the last time I'd see the guy play professional football.

It was cheating while playing with Bo. I had a counter to Bo though. I would put Jerry Rice at tailback and it was heaven. Also, the Giants had a curl route that couldnt be stopped, even if you picked the play.
Timvp needs to put this in the arcade.

I tell every girl that about the Lakers when I first meet them. It makes things much easier.

And it's not like those happen very often
