I bet they feel pretty good about Tim Duncan.
So a few days ago I went to the press conference where Richard Jefferson was introduced as a Spur. To say the least it was maybe the coolest thing I have EVER done.
I got to see RJ, and a bunch of local news and EN people, I got to meet RC Buford (I thanked him for getting Jefferson), and I also got to listen in on Pop's pc which was done via conference call. And that brings me to my point(other than gloating haha)
When prompted Pop admitted that 2010 was mostly "pie in the sky" and that Jefferson is better than what we would have gotten this offseason or next in FA. He added that they were more interested in the guys at the 4 position that are FA's this summer.
This may help to see where the spurs are and aren't looking, and also how they feel about who they have at center.
I bet they feel pretty good about Tim Duncan.
Glad you got to go and had such a great experience.
There's some conversation about Pop's '4' comment here:

If they're officially calling him a center now. lol
family has been season ticket holders for 14 years now, and hadn't renewed for next year yet. Apparently there are several long time season ticket holders in the same boat and so this marketing guy Chris Monroe called us, another woman who went, as well as a couple others who couldn't make it. They said it was the first time they'd ever allowed non Spurs staff/press to a pc like that, but may do it some more in the future
I don't know how are they officially calling him, but he has been our center for a pretty long period of time now.
So did they renew afterall? If not, gotta give the Spurs props for trying.![]()
yeah my dad signed right after they gave me a picture of the Memorial Day Miracle autographed by Sean Elliott...like there was a choice after that
best day ever
Guess, I should have held out before I renewed our tickets![]()
omg... what a little .
die.
I thought my ticket stub to the MDM was nice...![]()
As in you were there???
yeah i'd call that pretty "nice"![]()
