I hope they trade him to the worst team in the league.

I'm not Mavs fan, but if the Mavs did trade him to the worst team in the league that would be awesome and I would cheer for the mavs in that case, after he demanded a trade last year I have said(this will get back at him and he won't win in Dallas)

The Mavs need that to happen in order to have any chance. Then they need other moves. But only having the MLE to offer in FA would ruin them. There is no one out there. Bibby?

And yet the biggest game of the season Fisher rescues you guys from the brink of 2-2. Horry used to do the exact same for the Spurs, and there's no way in I wanted to lose him (I'm still pissed Finley was brought back instead of Rob last year).

Just because Kidd comes to the team doesn't mean Fisher wouldn't be in the game when the Lakers need a big shot. That's actually the perfect role for Derek Fisher. Player/Coach playing limited minutes off the bench, similar to Shaw late in his career.

Mitch made the mistake in 2003 by not upgrading the roster. I doubt he makes the same one again.

If Kidd goes to LA they'd have to find someone to take Fisher's contract. Buss can't afford the kind of payrolls Cuban, Paul Allen, and Cablevision are famous for. Do you realize how expensive that team is going to be to bring back without him spending the MLE or shedding expiring contracts in trade? Did you not just see LA selling their draft picks last night?

worse bench then the spurs

bass the number one guy off the bench cuz he will want the whole MLE

The Mavs have until Training Camp to turn the Stack/Dampier contracts into something good. Until then, I'll hold off on the pitchforks. Not optimistic, but I will cut them some slack until then.
